Bar Five Eleven — Restaurant in Columbus

Idk why this bar continues to disrespect it’s biggest demographic. Why is it a continuous struggle to get them to unblock hip hop and rap on their touch tunes. Their demographic is mostly black. But we can’t come in and play music we like. It’s literally blocked. Why would I come to a bar that doesn’t cater to me? It used to. But management clearly doesn’t give a damn about the customers and wants to cater to the white customers that don’t pay their bills.

It’s not reason for us to give them out money. We can still get pizza from next door. It’s so good. These drinks aren’t worth it if we aren’t welcome.

And to you weak response. It would be believable if I didn’t have to contact TouchTunes to get the money back for the non blocked ethnic songs that never played. My husband and I have visited this location couple of times in the past. We most recently visited on 6/9/2023. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and asked what we would like to drink and if we wanted a menu. We each ordered Coronas, one with a lime one without. We did not order food right away. Received our drinks quickly. We were commenting to ourselves about the pour spouts on the liquor bottles. Just about the type of pour spouts. I asked our bartender to fix me something that fruity with rum in it. She made an amazing drink for me. My husband had a couple of shots. He also likes rum, his favorite rum is Bumbu, although hardly anyone ever carries it. We did order a pepperoni pizza and it was amazing!! This is a local hangout spot. Food from Angie’s next door was fantastic- they got our order quickly and it was accurate. Plenty of food for 8 people (2 pizzas). Service however was SLOW and got a bit frustrating. Several times we had to go up to the bar to get our drinks and to get our tabs. Bar was no busy either; maybe 4-5 patrons around the bar and then our table was the only one occupied.
