Iām not too impress with the customer service here. The new lady they hired really sucks at her job as I remember she use to work the register at the Asian Market side and sucked at that also. She made mistakes there and over charged forcing me to come back after a 40 minute drive one way it didnāt make nothing right. What a disappointment!
Today we saw her again working at your establishment and she donāt look to happy serving your respective customers. We support your restaurant and your food truck both on/off post, for this piss poor customer service is uncalled for. My wife tried to buy some cassava cake and other baked goodies and there was no buddy manny the counter so she rug the bell as instructed. There was no answer or acknowledgment after the 1st ring so she tapped it a few more times āstill no responseā, then she rang it some more. Then the lady came out few minutes lady pissed off claiming she was busy and told my wife to ring the bell once. So my wife responded with āokay if you was that busy than Iāll just put these back and let you go back to work.ā At no point she didnāt make her self known that she was busy or could have responded with āplease give me a minuteā and then come to great the customer. She needs retraining or I recommend finding a new cashier. If not you will loose...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had the pleasure of trying Bellaās CAKEtering Filipino Cuisine and Bakeshop during a local Food Truck Friday eventāand it was a fantastic find! Their food truck had a solid lineup of bowls and plates, offering both chicken and pork options. Everything smelled amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful when explaining the menu.
I ordered the Adobo Chicken Plate, and it was absolutely worth it. The serving size was hugeāgenerous portions of perfectly seasoned white meat chicken, tender and juicy, served over a bed of fluffy white rice and flavorful pancit (Filipino noodles). The plate also came with lumpia, which was crisp, savory, and full of flavor. Every bite was packed with that traditional Filipino taste, and the portion was more than enough for one personācould easily be shared or saved for later.
They also had several dessert options available, which looked delicious, but I didnāt get a chance to try them this time. Iāll definitely be back to sample more of their menu in the future. If you see Bellaās food truck in your area, donāt miss itāthis is comfort...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got the halo-halo, pande-coco, ube pandesal with cheese ,and my partner got the chicken adobo bowl which he greatly enjoyed. The pande-coco was also good; the filling was buttery, sweet, and slightly caramelized. I thought it the latter was pretty expensive though ($8 for three buns).
The ube pandesal with cheese is amazing and a better value at 4 buns for $8. They're soft and chewy like a yeast-riswn donut, and the fillings seem to be mozzarella and a sweet ube paste.
Maybe I just went on a bad day since they were about to close early, but the ice chunks in the halo-halo were too big which made for an unpleasant texture. It was also the most expensive halo-halo I've seen, at $10 a cup. It's a big cup, but still. On the other hand, the flavor and variety of ingredients in it was great, and I appreciate that they made the food for us even though they were about to close.
Sept. 2024 update: the ice chunks in the halo-halo are still too big, and it has also increased on...
