Stopped in on Friday evening at 6:20 pm Wanted to go food so I ordered pot roast with rolls and straight off the menu the Broasted chicken TENDERS...the young man taking the order told me I could either order the broasted chicken OR the tenders, I grabbed the menu and pointed exactly to the BROASTED CHICKEN TENDER picture/ad (this takes up approximately 1/3 of an entire menu page mind you) and said "this is what I want". I also ordered a beverage to have while I waited. At 6:40 I was becoming annoyed so I used the restroom and did a quick table count, there was 6 tables in the dining room. At 645 I received my to go drink. I also witnessed the young man pull my order from underneath the heat lamp and place it in a basket in the front counter area. At 6:55 I asked why my food had been sitting out for 10 mins and it had not been bagged up? The young man explained they were waiting on my rolls...... Two things of note
If I could give no star, I would. Service was terrible! My carry out order was supposed to be ready @ 11:30am. I got there at 11:36am to realize my order wasn't ready. The cashier began to tell me to wait for him to check everyone out of his line before I get my order I just paid for. I waited for about 5 minutes before stopping the GM Belinda, and asked if that was normal for me having to wait. She told me no and began to bag up my order. As she was sorting boxes I realized nearly half my order wasn't there, and she (GM) noticed my eggs weren't cooked properly and pancakes were plain (No Toppings). She said she would remake the items that were incorrect and complete my order. At this point it had been 20 minutes past my pick up time, all of my other food was surely cold by now. She eventually got my order sorted out and proceeded to tell me she has new people working and other excuses to cover her lack of leadership as a manager. I told her I wanted a full refund, she attempted several times to get my refund via credit card but failed. I was given cash refund in full for my order. It was past 12:00pm when I walked out with my food, horrible management and employees working at this location. Will never return here or to any other Bob Evans again!!! Read moreI truly hate to complain and really dont that often. In fact i generally love to leave reviews especially good ones! So let's start by the photos of the host eating on the line where YOUR food is being prepared. That's a big no. Then when I order my food I was asking to substitute the eggs for more home fries b because I knew that both bacon and sausage are more expensive so I opted to ask the server Andrew about potatoes knowing they're cheaper and I've done this many times before as I've been eating at Bob Evans since I was a child. He tried to tell me he couldn't do it. I got up and spoke to the manager who told me yes he absolutely could. I can't say I have had a bad experience at Bob Evans ever until today. Sure he kept my water full and I appreciate that but more importantly the employee didn't know his job and the other employee was eating where food is prepared. I was absolutely disgusted by that. They are supposed to eat in the back or at the very least not where you are preparing the customer's food. Thanks to the manager for being awesome and correcting the uninformed employee that I also over heard tell others that they couldn't also couldn't substitute anything. Eating on the line is what bothered me the most. I probably will not be returning to this location or even bob Evans again for quite some time...
