I’m a little shocked at the low quality food given to me. I ordered a gyro salad for lunch as my office is near by. I called in the order and asked what was on the salad and what came with it as the menu online has no descriptions at all. I was told it comes with some really great veggies, the dressing, and a pita. Perfect! I also ordered an extra side of dressing and a side of fries. I go in to pick it up and it hasn’t been made yet. No issues with that as I prefer it to be as fresh and hot as possible when I carry out. I then witness them put some already sliced, off the vertical spit they had in the restaurant, gyro meat onto a flat top grill to reheat and grab a handful of already fried fries from a basket and toss them into the fryer, again to reheat. I was completely turned off. The pita is also just two small triangles thrown into the fryer and served clogged with oil and yet dried out at the same time. Much like the rest of the food. For almost $17 total I will likely not return and just head back to chipotle for my lunch breaks. (Also, as an FYI to anyone ordering salads or needing dressings for anything; the dressings were very small, only half full in a 2oz ramekin.)

I work nearby and decided to try this out. The 2 stars I gave were def for the food. It was good. The other 3 I didn’t give this establishment was for the poor customer service. Picked up my food and went back to the office. Opened it up and it wasn’t what I ordered. Took it back and the person argued with me that it was my own fault for not understanding the menu. Which, doesn’t have any item descriptions online. So I ordered what I thought the item was, and yes my fault but put descriptions. And, don’t argue with customers. You could have simply said “let me make you what you thought you were ordering, Im sorry the menu is a bit confusing.” But instead argued with me whose fault it was and then acted like they were doing me a favor. Nope, I also own my own business and if I have a customer that has something like this happen I do everything I can to make them feel like I have been helpful and made things right. So won’t be going back, even though the food I finally ended up with was good. Look at my mother reviews, I usually give good reviews. So to get a not good one from me or at the very least a middle of the road one there is a problem.

Dude. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be my favorite place to get carryout close to my house and when my husband suggested we get this tonight I was thrilled. He got a Reuben and I got the chicken bowl. His Reuben was made with wheat bread from a store bought loaf and american cheese. I know this is a Mediterranean place but please put some feta on it for a twist instead of kroger loaf wheat bread. I know they at least sell rye there. My chicken bowl wasn't made with the wonderful rice it used to be with which, in my opinion was perfect, but a yellow rice with little flavor and the chicken had no flavor except the grill. Guys! What happened? The only reason i am not giving 1 star is because the tzatziki sauce is still Amazing and the service is always great. I miss what this place was only a few months ago.

  • I'm going to pre-face this negative review by stating that posting negative reviews to social media is not something I make a habit of doing as I like to give the offending establishment a chance to make things right. If they aren't willing to correct or acknowledge their mistake, then bad reviews happen so that other people are aware of the risk of being burned.

I made on online order at 9:00am for lunch to be delivered to me at my company at 11:30 am (the start of my 30 min lunch). I called at 11:40am when I hadn't yet seen the delivery driver and spoke to a young woman at the restaurant who informed me that they hadn't yet made my order. When I pointed out that I made a lunch order at 9:00am, she said that they don't open until 11. I mentioned that they may want to change their website as it clearly shows at the bottom of the 'directions' page that they're open from 8am to 8pm Monday thru Friday. I then asked her what they would do to make up for this completely avoidable situation and for my food being late, and she told me that they don't give discounts on Friday so there's nothing she can/will do.

When my food did arrive, at 11:58am, leaving me 2 whole mins. to eat, it was so-so/OK. I had the philly cheese steak; I've had worse, but I've also had better. At least the delivery driver was sympathetic and offered an apology; much more than the woman I talked to on the phone.

All in all, I was extremely disappointed with my first and only experience with this restaurant. There are other Greek themed restaurants in the area that, in my opinion, have much better customer service. I can't really comment on the food as I only had one generic item, but quality of food doesn't matter much to me if the service is less than poor. I recommend spending your $ at a Greek style restaurant that appreciates their customers as this one seems to be hit or miss, especially if you're looking for a...

Was in the neighborhood (Zaftig) and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Found Yappy on google and decided to stop in. The young man taking our order seemed a bit confused about the menu platters vs bowls rice vs fries but was able to take the order and get it mostly right. There seemed to be a lot of confusion with the cooks from where we were standing… salad (lettuce) was a little brown for my liking and skimpy with the dressing but the details were appreciated … despite being a small side salad there was effort to get a banana pepper, wedge of tomato 2 slices of red onion, chick peas, olives and feta on each combo - which took effort … rhey get an E for effort

The fries r wendy’s size and prepared well. The gyro was also well dressed tho again could have used a splash more tzatziki sauce which I asked for an extra side, which I was charged for but did not receive.

Thought the hummus was a little pricey but it was delightful and the pita was served fresh and warm .. I would try them again … except I might forgo the combo confusion and just order a gyro and fries a la carte

The gyro meat was a tad salty in places where there were no toppings (think close to the base of the pita) and not enough sauce … but it was not a deal breaker

My husband had the rice instead of fries and reported it was undercooked/underwhelming . He enjoyed the gyro and was disappointed they were out or spinach dip .

Id go back, check my order more closely and as I mentioned likely stick...

This is brand new and it just opened up around the corner from where I live. So my son and I decided to give it a try and welcome the establishment to the neighborhood. We decided to take advantage of a coupon which they had presented us, which was five Gyros for $29. When I went to pay, the total said $32. When I asked why, he said it’s because I used a credit card or debit card. He said that was the cash only price. When I pointed out that the ad didn’t say that he went ahead and said he would give it to me for that price. Much to my surprise he still rang it up for $29.99. Then the fast talking Conman tried to justify it stating that he had great expenses in opening the restaurant. Well, we all know it’s expensive to run a business and we understand this but the problem is when you’re trying to get customers in and earn someone’s business Advertising one price and then changing it when the consumer decides to use a debit or credit card is simply unacceptable. Especially in this era of debit and credit usage. Let’s be honest how many of us carry cash anymore!? The establishment itself was put together rather inexpensively. The decor was nothing to write home about nor or any of the amenities. The food was mediocre, and quite comparable to 1 million other gyro places throughout the Central Ohio area. I can think of a handful of food trucks and establishments that serve better food and I’ll honestly likely not...
