If I Could Give Buckeye Pizza, ZERO Stars I Would!! :( :( We Live One Mile From This Establishment, And I Ordered Pizza At 7:15 PM. On The App It Stated That Based On My Order, It Would Be Delivered To Me By 7:15-7:25 PM. At 8:50 PM The Driver Pulled Up, And I Asked Him Why Didn't He Call? He Cursed At Me A Blue Streak, And Told Me To Go "F-Myself". I Told Him I Was Calling His Boss..He Said, I Don't Give A Flying F". Again He Told Me To Go F Myself And To Go Get F**D. I Was Mortified!!! I Had Just Spent 30 Dollars...And For What!!! It Even Stated Right On The Receipt To Call Before Delivering. We Ordered A Cheese Pizza With 3 Toppings. We Didn't Get One Of Them. We Ordered A Small Order Of Wings, And A Small Order Of Buckeye Bites. When We Lived Next Door To This Establishment, We Ate There All The Time. But We Never Had It Delivered. Their Wings...(A Few Yrs. Back) Were The Best In Columbus...NOT SO ANYMORE!! :( Even With The Extra 35 Minutes, The Wings Were NOT Fully Cooked, And They Were Cold!! And The Pizza Was BURNED TO A CRISP..ALL Around The Edges, And From Underneath As Well!! The Buckeye Bites Were NOT At All As They Decsribed Them...They Tasted Like Chewy, Greasy Dough...And The Grease Squished Out As You Bit Down On Them!! :( :( The Buckeye Bites Were Also Cold!! I Called Buckeye Pizza, And Spoke To The Mgr. And He Swore To Me That "NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED BEFORE"!! He Told Me He Would Deal With The Driver When He Came Back In And Promised Me He Would FIRE HIM!! I Called Back 10 Minutes Later To Ask Him What They Could Do To Fix This Issue With The Burned Pizza, Undercooked Wings, And Cold, Greasy Food?? He Said To Call The Owner On Monday. And The Person That Answered The Phone When I Called Back The 2nd Time...The Driver Who Cursed At Me To The Point Of Me Being In Tears!!! One Would Think That For 30.00 Dollars, The Pizza Would At Least Be Made The Way You Ordered It, And Very Hot..And That Includes The Wings, And Buckeye Bites...But No Such Luck!! :( DO NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT Waste Your Money On This Grease Pit!!! The Food Is Nasty, And The Help Is Not Very Nice Either!! :( BEWARE, Buckeye Pizza, I Am Calling A Very Special Friend From The City...To Come And Pay You People A Visit. Don't Say You...
Read moreLooking back, I had never previously considered just how much of a positive impact something simple, like a stromboli, could have on a person's life. Hindsight being 20/20, it is so obvious to me now... There I was...many moons ago...hungry for pizza..but craving something different than the big chains had to offer. I was over in the Easton/Westerville area and decided to see if there were any mom-n-pop pizza joints nearby, something I hadn't had before. I went online, similar to what you are doing now, to read some reviews by other local-folks and hopefully find a suggestion or two. A few reviews in, someone referenced a place called Buckeye Pizza & Stromboli and they had some very positive, very emotional things to say about the stromboli offering there. Historically I hadn't been a stromboli guy, but I decided to give it a try. I called and ordered the traditional pepperoni and cheese version, then drove over to pick it up. A few minutes later I was headed home with my order in a box next to me. It smelled absolutely incredible. It was becoming increasingly difficult to resist pulling over to grab a piece. Luckily a light turned red and I stopped. This was my opportunity! I dove right in. Oh my goodness it tasted even better than it smelled! I was completely floored. The flavor? Amazing! The texture? Omg! A perfectly baked combination of crusty, crispy and cheesy textures. This was serious, big league stuff. I drove the rest of the way home in silent reverie, contemplating the significance of the life-altering discovery I had somehow stumbled upon, through mere chance, by reading some random review, following a stranger's recommendation, and trying something new. Life is funny like that. So here I am, paying it forward. Give this place a call. Try the stromboli. Take that chance, who knows...it might just change the way you look at the world...it certainly...
Read morewe started ordering from them not long after they opened. The food was fantastic and we ordered 2 -3 times a week and let everyone know about them especially their wings, and slowly things started going down hill. Went to pick up one order and the order of wings were the most pathetic looking wings I have seen. Almost no meat and just a bone and there was little sauce, could barely taste the sauce. Next I ordered two different sauces and they both tasted the same. Ordered a large grilled chicken salad it was great, lots of chicken, and lettuce. Ordered the same thing again two weeks and 4 small pieces of chicken and not enough salad for two and starting to brown. Ordered wings with extra sauce and well done, had to put in my oven when I got home and had to use sauce from my house to make them so I could eat them. We decided to order the new sausage sub they have. the most disappointing sub I have ate. There was only a few pieces of meat, very few onions, few mushrooms and nothing else. I would have thought that there would be some lettuce and maybe some tomato and some mayo or mustard, very dry. In closing I am no longer enjoy the food from Buckeye pizza and very disappointed that I thought I had found my go to pizza place only to find it isn't. Also, the coupons they offer are not worth using anymore because you have to buy a pizza to use any of them. Used to be able to use a coupon if ordered over a certain amount for subs and such no longer. I ordered so much they knew my name. I am sorry but I am no longer satisfied with the quality or the amounts for the prices that are...
