Barrio Burrito Bar — Restaurant in Columbus

We really wanted to like this place, but service is lacking. 1) ordered for pick up & link takes you to a list of vendors. We choose Doordash because it clearly started there was NO FEE for pick up. 2) upon picking up we were explicitly advised EVERYTHING was in the bag, that was stapled shut with receipt attached. 3) get home and an item was missing, online shows as $3.99 ($3.00 on receipt). we called for refund, was advised it would not happen at store level, by Rajesh (manager) but we could drive all the way back up there. Then he inquired on how we ordered, then advised we would have to call Doordash directly. 4) looking at the receipt it shows an amount less than what we were charged (so YES, there is a fee) 5) once all that was handled we then attempt to eat our food, and the order was made incorrectly. The protein choice was swapped... The burrito bowl that was to be ground beef, was made with chicken & vice versa. There was a dietary reason we chose what we did so we couldn't eat it as they prepared it. * Unless you are going to go in person, watch what is being made, make sure everything is in the bag and don't want to be charged 6.50 in hidden charges don't bother with this place....

Short version: If you're dining in, you're probably OK, but I wouldn't recommend ordering ahead.

Longer version: Food is OK, but of the three times I've ordered online for pick up, I had missing items twice. Once in a while these things happen, but two of three visits? I gave them a call to see if they could refund that portion of the order and they had me on hold for fifteen minutes trying to figure out how to do that. They couldn't figure it out and kept asking me to drive all the way back down there and they'd remake the rest, but traffic in this area that time of day is tough to do once, let alone twice. So, they told me to reach out online instead. I did - I get that technical difficulties happen - and it has been a couple of months at this point. No one ever replied. I don't think I'll be back again. It shouldn't be that hard to...

It’s pretty good food. My partner and I came in on the 13th at around 7 pm. There were 3 employees, two men and young woman. The two men were nice and helpful, but the younger woman seemed super unhappy to be there and took the person behind me’s order before she took mine even though she had just taken my partner’s order and we said we were on the same ticket. Giving a little grace for the location only being open a couple weeks, she may have just been really new. But she also told us they were out of corn but one of the guys found it as soon as the person behind us ordered so it kinda seemed like she just didn’t want to look. It was a bit busy when we came in, nothing too crazy. Food tastes pretty good and they were making more of the proteins while we were there so things definitely...
