Subject: Disappointing Experience at Subway – Poor Service and Coupon Denial
Yesterday, I stopped by Subway to grab a Club sandwich, but unfortunately, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a food establishment in years.
The young man behind the counter was wearing an earpiece and appeared to be speaking in a different language to someone else while simultaneously trying to assist me and two other customers. He seemed distracted, distant, and disengaged—no eye contact, no greeting, no smile. It felt like his only goal was to rush us in and out.
When I politely asked for extra spinach on my sandwich and said I’d be happy to pay for it, his response was rude and unkind. To make matters worse, when I presented a valid Subway coupon, he refused to accept it for the Club sandwich. However, the coupon clearly stated that it excludes only wraps, The Beast, and the Garlic Roast Beef—not Club sandwiches. Had I seen otherwise, I would not have ordered it.
Frustrated and disappointed, I chose not to pay for the sandwich and left empty-handed. It’s disheartening to see a business prioritize saving a couple of dollars over offering a welcoming and respectful customer experience.
I’m sharing this so others can be aware of the poor service at this particular location. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and retrains their staff on basic customer service and honoring clearly...
Read moreThere are few places I give full 5 stars, but this place earns it. They do their job and do it well. The place is always clean when I come in. The staff is ready and mindful of product usage. They follow procedure and it shows. The food is always assembled neatly. No sloppy subs here. Next time I go, I will try their soup. They keep trying to up sell me on it and its working... you got me curious.

Regarding the negatives i've read about this place: Sounds like people whining. Specially the lady who's kids ordered cookies and drink without her permission. Staff was doing their job. They didn't discriminate by age. Nice up sale! Good job. She needs to learn...
Read moreWent to the drive thru for a late dinner. Orders a footlong meal and 2 kids meals. The man rudely told me I placed a “huge order” that would take him over 20 minutes to do. I was the only one in the drive thru but I apologized. He slammed the window quickly- looked back out at me a few times to shake his head at me, making me very uncomfortable. Brought out 2 bags about 25 minutes later, said that was everything and closed the window again. I went elsewhere to grab drinks to avoid dealing with him again. Got back to our hotel to eat ( we were in the area for my husbands work) and found there were no chips or applesauce either in the bags and my husbands chicken bacon ranch had no bacon on it.
