This is some of the absolute best food I have ever had. My girlfriend and I both agree that this is some of the best, most flavorful and unique food we’ve had in Columbus. If I was given a last meal it would be a Takorea Chicken Quesadilla with a side of their garlic aioli and a side of rice. Plain rice has never tasted so good. Also that aioli is absolutely mesmerizing. I woke up from sleep a day after I had Takorea (mind you we’ve eaten here well over 10 times) and immediately thought…. Damn last nights food was sooooo good. What other food place can do that. Never had a bad experience or anything besides amazing quality food that has proportions that fill you perfectly. Every person that rated low on this restaurant obviously has taste buds that can only taste Dino chicken nuggets. This place does not deserve low rating for being a vibe. We love the lights and the “gamer” vibe. Honestly it’s just a vibe and people are uncultured. If you made it this far you don’t need anymore words, go get Takorea and your life will be better...
Read moreI ordered through UberEats for pickup. UberEats shows that the restaurant closes at 10pm. I placed my order very late (around 9:50), and called the restaurant to assure that this was okay and that they received my order. The gentleman on the phone was very nice, so I'm sure the service here is great. The bar is actually open until 12am, so I think 10pm is just when the kitchen closes. I ordered the birria quesadilla, and it was phenomenal. It came with pico de gallo, consomme, sour cream, and a queso. The queso was unlike any cheese sauce I've had before, and had such an interesting, unique flavor. The portion was huge (giant tortilla folded in half, filled with delicious meat and veggies, and cut into five triangles) so the price of $16.99 was very fair (especially with the way prices are these days). If I lived closer (I was on vacation, I live 8 hours away) then I would go here all the time. That being said, I really hope I can visit and sit down to eat next time I am...
Read moreWe've been ordering takorea for awhile on Uber eats. Since it was a ghost kitchen. Because I am a food service worker , I think I've only left one review ever for a restaurant in my life because, I get it, it's a hard job h it's busy. But when I order food that I paid for by also cooking for others and it comes to me with such little regard for the customer, I really feel like somebody stole from me. We ordered birria nachos. The number one item in nachos besides chips is cheese. I found some melted cheese on four of the chips only. No queso. Your bulgogi gordita was two flour tortillas as a gordita. No not a fat tortilla or even what a gordita is.the meat on it was chopped so horridly, which if it was cooked properly still would have made it leather. And on and on. I feel so cheated out of my hard earned money and just wanted have a meal that I didn't cook. Do better night cooks or get a new job. Your distate for your profession really shows in what...
