Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Columbus

This particular Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't deserve 1 star. Saturday was my nephews birthday and at the last minute he decided he wanted to got to BWWs. We had 18 people and we knew we were going to have to wait a long time. They did not want to sit outside, which made our wait longer, but we were cool with waiting longer. But little did we know our experience was going to be nightmare!

We arrived around 7 pm and it was crazy packed. Like mentioned above, we understood with the size of our party it was going to be crazy. An hour in to our wait, we asked the host about how much longer. she stated that they dont give wait times. 30 mins later we are still waiting, so I go look around, because as many people are coming in, there are people leaving at the same rate. I am looking to see if the are blocking areas off or if there is any type of strategy, which there was not. They were just waiting for a big table to open instead of blocking tables as people got up to ensure we get seating. Now my sister is upset and asked for the manger. We chat with the manager about whats the problem, by the way host was rude (she did eventually apologize). I had to explain to the manager, how to seat our party by blocking off areas and within 10 minutes, we had a table. At this point its been two hours.

We were sat at 3 different tables that were next to each other. Which was great! so our server stated it would be easier to serve each table individually. Which make perfect sense! She gets the table orders and everyone is fine, because again we are 18 people and we know there is going to be a wait. About 45 mins later, another server brings food to our tables. he starts calling out the food and its not ours. they guy left the kids food because my niece had already touched the food before we realized it was not ours. I watch him take to food to our server and she looks mortified in the face. At that point I new she has messed up our order. which was not an issues, if fixed properly. At this point I am thinking she is coming to explain apologize or something, nope she walks right past our tables. The issue is that when she made the mistake, her the the manager, (who I could see and interpret from there body language decided to avoid us.) She was serving other tables around us and ran off from those tables. I had to flag her down. I asked about the food the guy brought us. She stated it was not ours and ours was coming. At this point I am pissed because she is insulting my intelligence. my sister then goes and gets the manager her (whom is a waste of space). they start asking what did we have and verifying our order. I then stopped the manger and asked what is going on. they stated that the server rang the order up incorrectly and they are trying to get it fixed. at this point after being in the restaurant for four hours and no food, half of our guest left. not to mention my sister bought 200.00 in gift cards for her son s friend to pay for their food.

Not the manager nor the server apologized or communicated to us what was going on. instead they tried to avoid us knowing that they made mistake. to add insult the sever told me she was going to get our check. I said what check! I am taking Emmy food to go on your dime! Mind you I still didn't have any food. LOL! Also after we left my nephew and his friends ( the ones who stayed were made to pay full price for there food). not even a discount. on top of that the server is crying ! What............... we have been her for four hours and not one complaint, until hour 3, and not one person was rude her, so why was she crying about a mistake that she made that could have been fixed by communication.

Making a mistake is fine, but when you realize you made the mistake, you decided to ignore us and pretend like all is good after 4 hours. Waste of time. Fire everyone and get a new staff, who can...

Went in today to have dinner and a few drinks and to see the best bartender that this Buffalo Wild Wings has Nancy. We were greeted as we walked through the door by her as we had not been in for a few weeks. She greeted us as nobody else did. A manager and others standing around leaning against the wall. As we walked in they eye balled us and said nothing as we stated how happy we were to be there and have dinner and see her as my husband starts 2nd shift tomorrow. We were followed by a manager who was down talking her the whole way and I asked why they were stopping her which was absurd. She said as doing her job and going back to her bartending/customer service job. All of a sudden after ordering she came over and told us how she was being sent home/ relieved by the person coming in and yet she was still scheduled to work so should still be able to finish taking care of us. Yes that did not happen so we told her finish our order which was over $100.00 for two of us. The wings were not labeled correctly nor enough sauce for n them so we had to ask Nancy to give us extra sauce for them so that is not her fault as she doesn’t cook them correct!! After leaving there we were told by another employee that Nancy was let go because management felt she told us things she should not have and yet we talked about kids and Bath and Boday Works how stupid of the management there. Review the cameras I am sure you can see the damn item she showed me she got from there. I can assure we will never go back there as Nancy’s great service and dedication was the only reason we came into this establishment to start. Corporate really needs to check...
