I visited this restaurant based on the reviews. There are some pros and cons.
PROS: Location, lots of parking and Wednesdays kids eat free (with purchase of an entree) Friendly
CONS: Pricing-Ridiculously priced compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. I was livid when I ordered chimichangas for $14.95 and received a single chimichanga. EVERY Mexican restaurant I've been to, gives you two. It was ok, but the chicken tasted similar to canned chicken. Confusing- you walk in and it's a huge empty space with limited seating. Child waiter- we had a young server who appeared to be about 15, and had no information to provide when we asked questions as first timers. He giggled a lot and wasn't too helpful. Canned soda- NO fountain soda available . Cans were $2 and some change. Everything is A LA Carte! Read carefully. My daughter ordered Barria tacos and when they arrived they did NOT bring the dip. We were told the dip for the barria tacos is sold separately! What!??? It was $3.25 for dip Honestly, there are better Mexican food restaurants in the same vicinity that are way cheaper and offer more bang for your buck. Overall, I was disappointed and...

What an amazing experience, truly was unforgettable for the entire family! We couldnt decide where to eat, and I was somewhat hesitant about dining here since I had never been here before- but man! Iam glad I did because the food/entertainment/atmosphere/service/menu/cleanliness was through the roof 12/10 all the way!
Really I don't think I can even stress it enough to anyone that might be on the fence for lunch or dinner - because Casa Qaxaca should absolutely be your next stop 100%!
They had an amazing band playing as we ate, everyone couldn't be more welcoming and kind, I normally check out the bathrooms at restraunts just to see if they are keeping up with cleaning, and jeez couldn't find one speck of loose trash or splashed water or anything to criticize them about.
The menu was reasonably priced and something for everyone old and young to try, Like I said, can't stress this enough! Def enjoyed my night out with the family, you should give it a shot as well it will become your new go-to...
Read moreWas craving a giant Mexican burrito, smothered in ingredients. Decided on this place after looking around and seeing pictures and menus. Ordered 2 burritos for pickup; the Asada and the Pastor. Food was ready quickly and the host was nice, but I was immediately dismayed at how small and light two $12 burritos were, as well as the fact that they were just wrapped in foil instead of in a box covered with lettuce and queso sauce and all the stuff you usually get. Also, no complementary bag of chips with pico de Gallo either.
Weighed the entire bag and everything when I got home: 1lb, 13oz. For reference, my burritos at Chipotle are 2.5 to 3 oz and they cost less than 1 of these burritos.
"Ok," I thought, "I guess I paid for quality and I will at least really enjoy the flavor." I did not. They were the most mediocre burritos I've ever eaten from a Mexican restaurant anywhere. If I wanted mediocrity, I would have just gone to chipotle and at least received twice the food for half the price. What a bummer. I won't...
