Always super nice. This was the first time that I had an issue with my order being wrong at a Chik fila and nothing was offered to remedy the situation. I ordered a combo with a LARGE drink. Lady handed me a small or medium that normally comes with combo. I asked is this a large? She says no. I told her I ordered a large. She said doesn't say that. Her quote then was "we'll get it right next time." I promise that was her response. I have never witnessed this reaction at a chik fila ever before. At one store they forgot my ext rd a pickles on the side. When I went back to ask for them very nicely, because no big deal, they replaced my whole meal(sandwich and fries).I said no I got my food already. She said I know but it's our fault. Now that was above and beyond great service, but could you not offer to charge me the extra at window and give me the large I asked for? Or could you actually give me a large upgrade at no charge since it was your fault? I was in shock I just sat there instead of saying, no I'm not fine with we will get it right next time. Read moreWhen this CFA first opened, I had originally given it 5 stars. A few years in and as expected, the typical Columbus stereotype of downright lazy and rude service has plagued even CFA. Let me clarify: the food is still OK. There's a few people on staff that are very nice, but the majority are very sub-par at best. Instead of hearing a "my pleasure" with a sincere attitude, you'll hear "my pleasssh" with a McDonald's server attitude. You'll get to see attitudes in the drive-thru window while the managers are sitting right in front of them. You'll sometimes have your food/drink shoved into your face without ever seeing a smile. Is the drive-thru line busy on a beautiful mid-day? Yep, packed so much that you can't even pull in because people have NO IDEA how to use the drive-thru system and the managers REFUSE to use a second person outside to help take orders. Read moreGrandson is in town for the summer.(June 2024) He wanted to have breakfast at Chick-fil-A. We went in and placed our order. I then went into the restroom to relive myself. An employee was in the stall, and once he finished his business,(#2) he just walked out without washing his hands.
I then exited the restroom after washing my hands and trying to locate this person. I noticed that he was in the back kitchen area. If we had not already ordered our food and it wasn't on the table, I would have just walked out. I advised the manager, and she advised that she would speak with the young man.
I advised her that all employees need to understand the importance of washing hands, especially after relief of themselves. I haven't heard anything in response to my verbal complaints after stating that I would like to be contacted. I wish that the health department would just go into restaurants quietly and monitor the day to day business. Someone will get sick eventually if they have not...
