Confluence Park — Restaurant in Columbus

My wife and I had our first date at Confluence Park. It was a great experience and we both truly enjoyed the evening. We wanted to take our friends to a nice restaurant, our first thought was Confluence Park. We were VERY disappointed. Our server acted like we were bothering her by being there. The food was very overpriced with no sides offered with the entrée. Our friends’ steaks were overcooked one was actually burnt. Our server didn’t offer drink refills. We only saw her twice, walking by, during dinner. The décor that we remembered was all gone, no table cloths or other things that one would expect for a “3.7 star” establishment. We were concerned when we entered the parking lot and there were only about 6 cars there. Now we know why. The view is very nice, but that is the only thing that this venue has to offer. The greeting staff was very customer friendly. It was my 1st visit to the restaurant so I didn't know I needed a reservation, however the staff accommodated me and seated at the bar. No server was never assigned to me. I was on my on after being seated. The 1st. serving of crab legs were cold. My bacon was cold. I had a Mammosa and asked for another and he refilled my glass instead of giving me a new one. The lady who cashed me out didn't appear to believe that I didn't have a server. My experience here was not the best. My chances of returning is null. The Hollywood Casino has a much better seafood buffet on Friday with greater quality of food. They have prime rib as well. I had my wedding here in September of 2019. I worked for months with one of the wedding planners and everything looked great. But the actual day of the wedding the wedding planner hands everything off to an operations manager that knows nothing about what you want and screws every detail up. When I brought it up with the general manager after the wedding, he didn’t apologize, didn’t care for my feelings and wrote it off as me wing dramatic.
