Every time I come here they get my order wrong, but that's not why I chose to leave a review. I been coming here for 5 years bc I work across the street and I have just learned to check the bag before I go back to work, so getting my food wrong didn't bother me that bad bc it's fixable. What pissed me off, is I ordered a milkshake and fries after work and they recently changed their fries from straight with the skins kinda on, like more home cut style, to these cheap frozen crinkle fry and halved the portion size. When I got my fries and saw how much they downgraded, I asked the cashier kinda confused "when did you change your fries?" She looked at me like I was stupid and said they've always been like that. I told her no they used to be like more home cut and straight, my favorite thing about that place was their fries had the skins still on. She continued to play me like I was stupid and got another girl to tell me the same thing. She said they've always been like that, they've always had crinkle fries, and she didn't know what I was talking about and how I must be confused with another restaurant. So at this point I just ask for a refund and give them the Fries back. Then she looks at me even crazier and turns around and gets a manager. The manager asks me what the problem is and I tell her I don't like crinkle fries and I didn't know they changed the menu item and I'd just like my money back. Then she looks at me crazy and said that they changed the fries two months ago and no one except for me has had a problem with the change and next time I should ask what kind of fries they have if it's going to be a problem. Who just goes into a restaurant they always go to and is like "hey just wanted to make sure all the menu items are the same, you have t changed any products have you? Like the Fry's are still the same brand right?" Terrible...
Read moreBeen to Cook Out several times now. Cheap prices shouldn't mean the quality of food should be cheap too, but here that seems to be exactly what it means. What's really annoying is not getting the same product each time. I don't expect everything to be exact replicas of what I had before, but the ingredients should not be different. I have ordered the cheeseburger quesadilla each time I've gone and ask for extra meat and extra cheese because they hardly put any on there to begin with. On different visits each time, I have ended up with mostly cheese, bacon, or random quesadilla sauce. Their solution to extra meat/cheese is to charge for a whole additional quesadilla. So you order 1, pay for 2. Order 2, pay for 4. Surely they can come up with a better solution. Another annoyance is the speaker box. Before you even fully get to the box and stop your car(unless you slam on your brakes when you get there) they've already start talking. It's very difficult to understand what they're saying because they sound very quiet as if they're not speaking into the mic close enough, and there is an almost crackle-like quality coming out of the box when they talk, making it harder to hear. Would also be nice if my drink cups had the drink on the inside only, not drenched on the outside. Update 7 months later- Weird and disgusting choice to put what I'm assuming are grapes into a hot fudge milkshake?? Even as a mistake you should still be able to realize what happened and make another one the correct way. Regretting my choice to try again a half year later. Read moreRude, Double was one patty cut in half and stacked, whole order was made wrong and receipt showed this and they refused to replace or refund, mentioned 3 times extreme allegy to onions and onions were loaded on every one of the 4 burgers receipt showed no onions and noted allergy, the 4 large teas were soured. Ended up leaving the food with them and went elsewhere. Dangerous to note an allergy to something and then have the whole of four meals loaded with the allergen. Will never go to the Columbus cook out in front of Peachtree mall again, they could have killed my husband if we hadn't checked the order before taking a bite. Claimed no manager was available when confronted. Did however record the interaction and send to corporate who issued full apologies and made sure to get our refund to us in a matter of minutes while waiting on the phone with us to make sure it showed in our account before letting me go off the phone, offered me also a complete replacement for any other location which the refund satisfied me and I declined to take from one store because of the lousy and terrible service of another store.
