1. My family and I visited Denny's restaurant, where we ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes, which were supposed to come with icing and cinnamon crumble. Instead, we received plain pancakes. The waiter, Nicholas, displayed a lack of competence by sniffing the pancakes and claiming they smelled like cinnamon, insisting they had merely forgotten the icing. I pointed out the menu description to him, but he rudely took the plate away. When he returned, he had simply added a small amount of icing to the same cold pancakes, insisting it was what we ordered, which prompted laughter from my family. Nicholas then loudly declared that I wasn't paying for the cold, incorrect food and called for security, all of which was recorded. We paid for our meals and left, only to find out the next day that the manager wouldn't be available for nearly a week. When we finally contacted corporate, they offered only a gift card as compensation, refusing to refund our original payment. Interactions with the manager felt like a game of telephone, filled with attitude, and were also recorded. Fast forward a couple of weeks, we returned to use the gift card, and my dad ordered country fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. However, the country fried steak arrived drenched in a watery substance, rendering everything soggy and unappetizing.Dennys has been consistently disappointing. My family member ordered the Beetlejuice pancake special, but instead received plain pancakes with chocolate drizzle, far from what was requested. I also ordered boneless wings, which arrived cold and dry, lacking any breading, resembling something hastily microwaved from a frozen bag. Two visits resulted in two unsatisfactory meals, and I feel compelled to express my frustration over the wasted time and energy spent dealing with these issues. With entrees priced between $12 and $18, the lack of competent culinary skills is unacceptable. The server, who was the same on both occasions, offered little more than an apology without attempting to rectify the situation. I plan to share photos comparing what we ordered to what we received. Overall, I strongly advise against dining at Denny's, as it has clearly declined in quality and service.

Came here tonight after the Reba concert… I was with a large party and it took 15+ mins to get our drinks. Then they forgot one of our milkshakes till much later. Our order didn’t get placed till at least 5-10 mins after our server took our order - We placed our order, we all ordered stuff that was quite easy- all breakfast. It took almost an hour for that to come out. Then they forgot two of our meals! We didn’t get a drink with our meal we asked for to be brought out with our food. None of our food was what we ordered. I ordered an omelet with Cheese, chorizo, and mushrooms. I got sliced cheese - not even melted, breakfast sausage, and cold canned mushrooms with some juices inside of the omelet. We asked for well done hash browns and they came out white.. we asked for sourdough toast- we got white toast that was barely toasted and no butter. The pancakes had burnt chunks of we would rather not know what it was. The one pictured had something white in all of them right in the center - We finally just gave up on this place and asked for all of it but one meal to be taken off and our drinks. I walked into the ladies restroom… it was absolutely disgusting in there!! Doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in quite some time! The floor was sticky- I’d rather not know why! The toilets didn’t flush all the way. The handicap stall was ridiculously nasty! There were several dirty tables that weren’t getting cleaned. The floors under the tables were filthy. The ceiling tiles are rotted and falling above tables. -that couldn’t possibly be up to health code standards. I don’t know if this experience was just terrible because of how late it was, or if this is all the time. But I was highly disappointed. Y’all can do much better!!

I don't know where to even begin. When I arrived there was only one customer in the whole restaurant. I saw 3 employees. One was a server, 1 was a cook, and I'm not sure what the other employee's job was employee stop was exactly. I was seated and given a menu and she got my drink for me. They were out of Dr Pepper so I had water instead. I tried to order potato soup which is on the menu, but they were also out of that. I then tried to order a 1/2 order of nachos, Only to find out that they were out of the nacho meat. 😏 I finally settled on the combo appetizer. When it finally came out, my chicken was WAY overcooked and burned. One of the pieces couldn't even be cut. (I have video proof of that just in case a manager tries to dispute that fact.) I did not ask for my money back Or even ask them to recook it. I just assumed the way things were it nobody cared enough to do it right the 1st time so what was the point of asking for it to be done a second time. The server waiting on me couldn't stay awake and kept falling asleep while at the computer screen. Even the cooking and bag was taking videos and pictures of her falling asleep. To which she replied that she was extremely tired. I'm not sure what her situation is but she acted and looked more like she was on drugs than being sleepy. I also have video evidence of this. I was in town visiting and drove 20 minutes from my hotel in the rain To eat here. I assure you the next time I will go somewhere else.

My spouse and I come here to eat, after a long day. It was one of few restaurants open 24 hours so we decided to come here. This place was nothing short of awful. There wasn't many people when we arrived, so we were pretty much seated immediately. But once we were seated, we didn't receive any kind of service for the next 15-20 mins. I had to go and find someone just to bring us drinks. Please keep in mind, the restaurant couldn't have had no more than.... 4 tables seated (I counted 5 people on staff that night). Once we finally got our drinks we were then allowed to place our order. We both ordered a veggie omelette with hash browns on the side (we requested to have the hash browns extra crispy). Not only did we have to wait an additional 40 minutes to get our food, but there were people coming in much later after us, receiving their food before us. That made me feel unwelcome and less than. When we finally got our food... The veggie omelette wasn't horrible, but it was cold. The hash browns were not crispy at all. In fact, they were not even cooked all the way and they tasted freezer burnt. I was disgusted with the entire experience and will not be returning, ever.

I would normally rate this place higher, but the wait for the checks alone is ridiculous. I like ordering their build-your-own Beyond Burgers, but I have to triple-check that the order doesn't come with cheese as over the years, that had been an issue. I have only been able to eat french fries (seasoned or wavy) here on a couple of occasions because they ran out of other options. My group likes that it's open late, but we all dread the long wait for the food or when something has been forgotten. Refills for drinks happen either quickly or every half hour. Apparently, they get a ton of to-go orders, yet they are chronically understaffed. We have witnessed them turning people away who arrived 20 minutes after us on the busy weekend nights. Unless you want to be severely disappointed, do not get their wings as the portion size is sad when compared to any other item on the menu. Get the choconana pancakes (though some gripe that IHOP has superior batter for the pancakes) or some version of a grand slam if you're an omnivore.

Used to eat at ALOT before they all closed around Columbus Oh. Could get an excellent meal for a decent price. I was happy to hear of this one being in town, until my visit. Prices have sky rocketed!! For the portions of breakfast food and the quality, it is not worth it. The sausage links were smaller than my pinkie, rubbery and bland. The bacon were paper thin and bland. The scrambled eggs taste like water added powder mixed. The strawberry pancake bites were over cooked and tasted burnt. Staff was pleasant, but treated you like just another customer, not very social or out going. Atmosphere? Only about 5 tables of customers, extremely quiet, except for the loud pancake blender. Sounded broken, lol. No music, no laughing or joking around from employees, fealt like i was at a conference instead of a restaurant on OSU campus. Overall, very disappointed in what Denny's has become. $65 for 4 breakfast meals and 2 drinks. Check out menu prices before you go.
