Dunkin' — Restaurant in Columbus

I come to this location often, and get the same thing everytime (brown sugar shaken espresso) and never before have I had the issue of 1/3 of the drink not being there, yet I come today and it’s not filled the way it normally is so I ask if they could fill it, and she tells me there’s measurements and she could add more ice. When half the drink is already ice. It was incredibly obviously she just didn’t measure correctly, yet she sat there with an attitude insisting it’s just the measurements. I also work in food service, so I already felt bad complaining, and I don’t normally complain about the avocado ‘toast’ that’s never toasted. But she also said ‘I could double toast it?’ when it again obviously wasn’t even toasted once. I don’t know why she was so insistent on being right about the order, but in every food service job I’ve been at ‘the customer is always right’ and she has obviously never been told that before. I frequent this Dunkin quite frequently out of convenience and the fact that majority of my experiences are extremely positive. The staff here are very friendly and efficient. All my orders have been correct. As with any place you become a regular of, you will encounter the ‘off’ times. It seems this location does struggle during peak times on the weekends, so expect a longer wait. Fellow app users, I only noticed this while reading reviews - the app prices are a bit inflated compared to in store prices. For me, it’s not a huge deal due to the reward system and app offers. Something to think about though. Overall, this is definitely the best Dunkin I’ve been to in this area. My drinks taste great without that dreaded burnt expresso aftertaste I’ve encountered at other locations. My chai latte was room temp at best and called as soon as i left the drive thru to let them know. The assistant manager on duty that day was very nice and assured me that I can return the next day at 10 or 5pm and i will get my drink replaced. I went at 5pm the next day and the guy at the drive thru didn’t know what i was talking about. My name wasnt left as she promised and if it wasnt for me still having my receipt the guy would have thought i made the whole thing up.
