Grumpy Troll Tavern — Restaurant in Columbus

Grumpy bartender with a trolling attitude.. has no regards for service, we have been there twice and refuse to go again. I’m not one to leave reviews but her attitude was so nasty I felt inclined. If you want hospitality you won’t get it from Letty (I believe is her name). First experience, we stopped in and I couldn’t even comprehend how she was still standing. She was beyond drunk. Squinting her eyes, body waving back and forth as we tried to tab out. This was just my boyfriend and I at the time. Second time, was with a group. No more than 10 people, we showed up a few minutes after everyone and just asked her for our drinks whenever she had a moment. She quickly caught an attitude and went rampant “I have all these people that came in before you..like you think you’re special..” etc. cussing under her breath and complaining to the group of people we went to meet.. because we asked for a drink.. when she had a moment. She continued to stumble around seemingly not taking orders but just ignoring us. She then singled out someone in our group and pointed at him telling him to get out? Everyone was confused. Needless to say our group chat all noticed she seemed drugged out, also drunk and was just hostile and agitated with everyone. I normally love this bar, but the Monday night bartender was extremely rude. She mentioned happy during conversation that she was a vegan. My boyfriend added that I (being a peskitarian) don't eat meat other than fish. She got extremely offended that I eat fish, started rattling off what's wrong with the meat market in the US, and was visually disgusted by the simple fact that we are not also vegans. She ended up angrily telling my boyfriend and I to leave simply because we have different views than she did on the matter.

When we went to leave my boyfriend mentioned that he ordered a $3.50 drink, handed her $5, and received no change. He would have most likey tipped her with it for the drink, but didn't get the chance. She proceeded to tell us, once again, to leave and threw five dollar bills at him. It was only $1.50 and not a big deal at all, but that behavior is childish. All the other bartenders we've seen here have been great, but this one was so absolutely rude that I doubt we will be back. If you go in on Monday night, make sure you don't bring up hunting, fishing, or anything similar that "takes innocent lives" in conversation. She'll probably do the...

So I used to enjoy coming into this bar after a hair cut. Usually it’s in the evenings , well today I came down from Delaware earlier than usual to get a haircut. I walked in to the owner vacuuming his bar. I said can I use the restroom. He went off on me and said: I was disrespectful because he gathered that I was only going to use the restroom. I understand why he’s upset, but he shouldn’t have scolded me so badly especially since Iv been a good paying customer. I will not be bringing my service back there.
