WORTH THE READ
Atmosphere was as you'd expect. Service was subpar at best Food was mediocre Price was ridiculous. A sweet tea was near $4. Was never asked if I wanted a refill after the first glass. That 1 glass came out long before our meal. So I had the luxury of starting my meal with almost no beverage and when I asked for a refill it never came. I had to ASK for 1 to go.
2 entrees 2 drinks And A side of gravy was $54?!
Waitress had a small accident and spilled hot hollandaise sause on me. I get it. IT happens. I ASKED for a wash cloth to clean off with and wasn't upset at all. Accidents happen. I asked for an extra hollandaise sauce to have enough for the meal. Waited for what I felt was an unrealistic time to receive the extra sause. But at least they didn't forget to charge for it. And wouldn't you know, through everything that transpired, I wasn't offered any generosity to smooth over the experience or circumstances. Heard the Waitress continuously apologize to me, and the other table and the other table etc. It appeared that "im sorry" was an attempt to cover up pour performance.
High price for the average experience you can get at a waffle house, dennys etc. Save your money and time and go to a cracker barrel or waffle house.
I'd like to also point out, that the gentleman sitting directly behind me had an absolute disgusting floor around him as well as when the Waitress spilled the sauce on us, the mess stayed on the floor around and under our table for the entirety of the visit. Became sticky and a mess. So to recap, high prices, poor service, poor cleaning then have the audacity to ask for a tip?? I left a small one because i dont know the Waitress background. May be surviving on tips alone. But hey, I was able to beat my son at tik tak toe while we waited.
Will not be back to this establishment. And it's a shame. I'm a local that visits that cluster of restaurants frequently throughout the week. Back to the trusty waffle house I go.

Read moreOn 5/9/2025 approx 445 pm, my wife and I with two of our teenagers boys came to IHOP’s and immediately was taken to a table. And at that time there were maybe a total of 7-8 tables that were occupied so it wasn’t busy as we normally expected so we thought we will get served immediately. We looked around and seen several staff standing and one staff sweeping near us. Approximately 15-20 minutes have passed and still no servers came to our table to take our drinks order. My wife saw a parties of three came in after us and taken to a table on the same side of the dining area as we and they already had their drinks on the table. So here we are still waiting and my oldest 17 years old said this is bad customer services not getting serve by anyone and inquired if we should leave and eat somewhere else. (I have to applaud for my son’s maturity as we taught him well). So we decided to leave and we walked past the host who took us to the table, I made the comment to her that we waited and waited and another party a few minutes after us got their drinks order already on their table and a waitress now taking their foods order. Why hasn’t anyone come to our table. She gave me the frown face as if she was also disappointed so we walked out to go somewhere else. I wonder if it was because my wife and I were using American Sign Language as both of us are deaf and either the waitress had the fear of communication with us or thinking we are one of those “lowly deaf tips,”. If either of those were the reason, then I am very disappointed and we don’t plan to come to this IHOP for an unforeseen time but will either do Clarksville or Greenwood. As we normally would come to Columbus 1-2 times per month and we are good tipper around 18 to 25%.....
Read moreWas at this IHOP on 6/21 for lunch, and I had taken my iPhone headphones in to sit in on a conference call while I was there. When I left, I forgot my headphones on the table, which I realized about 20 minutes after I left. When I called back to ask about them, the girl who answered said she would check the lost and found, but could be heard asking someone right there "did you find some headphones?" To which the person could be heard responding "headphones? No." So, without even checking the table I had been at, or the lost and found, or asking around, she simply asked the first person she saw, and then told me they weren't there. It just irritates me that, while forgetting my headphones was clearly my fault, people are too lazy or can't be bothered to actually check when you ask about something left on the table. The fact that my headphones hadn't been turned in in the time the table had been cleaned and I had called back tells me that they also have some dishonest employees that work there also. Since the staff couldn't be bothered to actually look for my headphones, this location gets a one star rating, and I'll keep my business elsewhere from now on. Should my headphones mysteriously turn up, I can be contacted through my...
