This was my 1st experience to this restaurant. There was no one at the counter to greet me. I told them this was my 1st time in their restaurant and still no one said welcome, or how did you find us. The food looks good. I got fried appetizers different items. They were fresh but very greasy. Everything was just thrown in a bag without any napkins almost 15 items. The 1st impression is the most important one. New customers don’t matter. There was not a warm & friendly professional ambience, or customer service from the Manager. I was very disappointed with this. I have a seafood allergy and carry a pen, and the guy and the chef were very nice and concerned. The woman was mean & rude to me For no reason, and I asked who she was. I was told the manager. I was instructed to have her enter in the computer my life threatening allergy and she told the guy to take my order, and she said I’m done. My allergy wasn’t important to her at all, but the guys cared. I was shocked. I almost asked for my money back, because I was actually looking for another restaurant and entered by mistake. I don’t...
Read moreStarting point, we ordered online. 2 combination LO MEIN meals and two egg rolls.
Delivery through Uber eats delivers both with fried rice. I call the restaurant and talked to an employee, female, around the time stamp of this post....she hung up on me the first time. I called back to explain THE ORIGINAL ORDER WAS TYPED IN WRONG, it was NOT Uber Eats fault. The receipt from the RESTAURANT clearly stated two combination fried rice, that was NOT what was ordered! She continued to cut me off and tell me that it was NOT their issue, it was the fault of Uber eats...I was advised I had to contact Uber eats customer service to complain and either get a reimbursement or my money back.
Uber eats did NOTHING wrong... The employee at this particular restaurant was uninformed, ignorant to online ordering practices, disruptive sitting conversation and extremely dismissive. She was loud and boisterous when answering the phone. This was my first experience and I don't think I would have anyone order online. There's too many ways to try to...
Read moreStopped in today to see what had taken the place of Lucky Bamboo 2 - have to say we were pretty disappointed. We had hot and sour soup - which was fine. Nothing to write home about and have had better elsewhere. We also had the Zhen Zhen Noodles - the execution was ok - the noodles were the correct texture, but the sauce was nothing but salty and sweet - it was so overpowering I couldn't finish it. We also had the Combination Lo Mein - this is the dish we order to see how competent the kitchen is. It's a basic dish - so any flaws stand out. Once again the technique was good - but the flavor lacking. the sauce was too sweet and lacked any depth - and the flavor of the wok was missing - almost like something cooked on a home stove instead of over a high heat wok. Also, they simplified the menu - which is good - but they should at least have mastered the few items on it. I miss the "Chinese" menu with the hot pots etc... Time to be looking for a new...
