I have to start out with saying that I really enjoyed this place, and I would order for them often with no problem. HOWEVER, I ordered from them yesterday and got the habachi shrimp, 2 chicken egg rolls, and a teriyaki shrimp bowl for my daughter. Unfortunately soon after we ate our food we both ended up with food poisoning. The next day I called Ginza Go to let them know what happened and I was first met with muffled laughter after one of the employees was trying to tell the other employee what happened and for her to go on and say she doesn’t know what to do about the situation. She later got back on the phone with me and told me that she could give me back my money and I responded with well I’m already really embarrassed but OK. I go to get a refund at the store and at first they were going to give me my money back but then someone said to not give me my money back for my egg rolls since they were recently made. Then I spoke with an older lady at the restaurant who proceeded to ask me how is it that I’m sick when nobody else called or came here saying that they were sick. I told her I don’t know but my daughter and I got sick. She then tried telling me that maybe I had a head cold, and then she told me because I had my food delivered maybe my food was cold and that made me sick, and then she said well maybe my daughter and I ate something earlier and that made us sick (no). She eventually decided to give me my money with the exception of what I paid for for the egg rolls because apparently the shrimp was the only issue and she did not even want to give me my whole amount until I told her exactly what she owed me because she was only going to round to the nearest dollar of what to give me. The customer service that I experienced through this whole ordeal was absolutely appalling especially when I was very loyal to this company. The woman treated me very rudely and for her to dismiss that both my daughter and i were was sick...
Read moreSo I have went to this place on a weekly basis at one point, supported them through the Pandemic always tipped. But unfortunately after some BAD experiences & VERY RUDE STAFF (the younger lady at the front window) I will NEVER be back. Out of all of the times I've ordered I only complained once before today when there were 2 items missing from a pickup order. They wanted me to either bring it all back in right then or take a picture of the whole order and bring that in to show them and they would think about it. She argued with me and basically called me a liar and never did replace the items. Today they completely ignored my request to leave off the crab on the only roll I got, we even spoke to the guy making it. (I did actually get a refund today) But in past times when they have been out of an item for your food it seemed like they just replace it with whatever they have, but I've never complained about it. Also they have now decided that if you want the same amount of sauce in a cup on the side it is .50 cents per cup (she claimed they have to charge that for the container even though it's the exact same amount of product) I now live over an hr away and If I order tempura anything it would be soggy with the sauce on it by the time I get to finish it. There are a few very nice Staff members (males that usually work in the back). So keep this in mind that your service here is going to be hit or miss, and could definitely ruin a good mood. And always check an order before you leave. I wouldn't recommend getting delivery, while waiting on my order I watched the girl argue with someone else on the phone. The female staff member told the person on the phone that her delivery driver must have taken her missing item and to contact them for a refund. Everyone can have a bad day but customer service and attention to detail has STEADILY DECLINED over...
Read moreI have only eaten here once so take this how you want, but I have eaten at many different hibachi locations in Columbus and this one missed the mark. The food looked good but we could tell right away from the lack of smell from the food, that it may be lacking. We were not wrong. We ordered the steak and shrimp. We were expecting something quite tasty but what we got was food that we had to smother with yum yum sauce just in order to have any flavor. I should have been suspect when the lady at the counter asked if we needed any soy sauce. That should have been my first sign that the food wasn't great. Because why would anyone need additional soy sauce if ithe food was...
