I ordered three subs at this location. The first was a Veggie sub and it was made immediately. The other two were hot subs. The employee who took my order had me pay for all three subs and promptly forgot about me. Multiple other customers came into the store, had their sandwiches made and left while I sat patiently. About 15 minutes went by, literally all the employees were in the back and there was only one other customer at a table, so the store was virtually empty. A different employee finally came out and looked confused and asked what I was waiting for. I told her and she walked around checking things, still confused as to what I could be waiting for because they had no tickets up to be made. It turns out, the employee who took my order never created a ticket, never told anyone about my order, and like I mentioned above, had completely forgotten about me. The employee who came out to “fix thing”, was great in getting my order and making my remaining subs, but at that point I had been waiting for 25 minutes. At no point did the other employee come out to apologize and the employee who fixed the situation offered no apology either. She handed me my order as if nothing was wrong. No apology. Like my time doesn’t matter. I’m not one to complain over the internet, but I was put off by how I was treated. Not so much about being forgotten (though that obviously shouldn’t happen), but the attitude that I hadn’t actually been inconvenienced was a real downer and really ruined my afternoon. I even tipped on the order, which I wish I could take back, but I can’t because I paid before I was forgotten.
Again, I was NOT apologized to. It was NOT busy. I was NOT treated like I mattered....
Read moretwo weeks ago i ordered some subs for my family upon ordering my sub the workers who are all young girls were having a conversation while making my order it went like this Girl A: “my favorite part of working here is wrapping the sandwhiches” Girl B:”you want to know what mine is? Walking out the doors of this place”
Than today me and my husband were in ordering our food. And my husband said i normally get the number 4 but i wanted to try something new. “What do you recommend?” The same girl from two weeks ago is on the slicer she says “if isn't broke don’t fix it “
My husband just froze at the young girls rudeness
You literally chose to work there! There are a million places to work right now! If you hate your job fine. But it has nothing to do with the customers!
It honestly gives “i don’t want to work” These girls look so upset when u walk in the door! Like you are...
Read moreFirst, I want to say I love Jersey Mike's food but the always incredibly rude woman that works the opening shift means I will no longer return to this location. I am guessing she might be the opening manager and honestly she has no business working with customers as her people skills are horrible, rude and offensive.
If you hate people as much as you do why don't you find another job? There are plenty of open jobs out there currently.
You cost Jersey Mikes most of my business as I will go to other sub shops nearby and only occasionally will I make the longer drive to get my Famous Mikes Philly from the Gahanna location instead.
I hope management takes action. Then again, if she is management I doubt it will...
