Read moreEverybody was telling me how great their cakes were from giant eagle. I donât know if I just got dealt a bad situation but I ordered my sonâs cake from there two days before, I needed to pick it up. I received a call the morning that I was supposed to pick it up, that they donât make those type of cakes that I requested. They left a message on my phone at 6 AM so I wasnât able to call them back until around nine, the lady I spoke to knew nothing about what I was talking about, she intern then told me that they donât make red velvet 8 inch cakes. She said we can give you another cake but it wasnât a red velvet cake, I told her no thatâs OK. So then she said I can give you a half a sheet for free and we can just write your sons name on the cake. Thatâs not what I wanted and I was very upset for birthdays mean a lot to us in our family , so because of the short notice of not having no cake, I did go and pick up the cake she gave me two small cakes that were red velvet that equal to maybe a half sheet a cake. Lo and behold the cakes that we were given stale and were nasty . I understand they were free but those cakes were horrible I ended up throwing them away. So I shouldâve just stayed with my first choice and went to Samâs Club never again...

This man was curt, cutting me off to inform me of the store policy before I could complete my sentence. He then placed me on hold to supposedly "see if there were other ways to get payment to them." With no other communication, a store employee picked up the phone to AGAIN inform me of the store policy and referred me to their sister store, which was 20 miles away and not the least bit convenient since it's out of delivery range for my family. I realize there is credit card fraud but not everyone is a crook. I'm disappointed by the manager's seemingly lack of interest in helping me. Poor service and lack of...
