I really didn't know how to rate this one so I gave it a three. There were only 3 people working. 1 guy was the cashier/sandwich maker/meat& cheese cutter. 1 guy was dedicated to making pick up/delivery orders and boy was he being super meticulous. And 1 guy working the grill and only the grill. (The guy doing the pick up/delivery orders ignored us but did take time to speak to the people behind us). The cashier/sandwich maker/meat&cheese cutter made the assumption we knew what we were doing and had been there many times before so he offered no help and he spoke too low. Barely above a whisper and I had to keep asking "what?" to get him to speak up. We were treated differently than the people who came in after us but I don't want to get all political but I believe he was speaking low on purpose. (I could hear him just fine standing farther away when he spoke to the people who came in after us. He was perfectly capable of speaking louder. I have experienced this before so I know it's a "thing"). You'd think after me asking him to repeat himself several times he'd speak up. Nope! Guess he didnt like our kind. I, myself, did not appreciate that. That's just me. This was our 1st time. Therefore it took a long time to get our order even tho we were the only ones in there. I told him that we were together but he handed us our sandwiches seperately and did not offer a bag. ??? Cashier/sandwich maker/meat-cheese cutter was very very sweaty. Ick very off putting. It was all over his face. Now for the sammies. My husband loved his. Just loved it. He got the original Italian on rosemary parmesean bread. I got the chicken philly cheese sandwhich on the same bread. The flavor was awesome. It tasted terrific however the chicken itself, the texture it was hard like it was stale or over cooked. It's kind of hard to describe but it was difficult to chew. If it had been tender it would have been such an awesome sandwich and I would have given a 5 star in spite of all the other garbage. I still enjoyed it even tho the chicken sucked. I am willing to give it another try tho and maybe next time the meat will be much better. Flavor was really good tho. I would recommend this place but with a little caution cuz you never know. I think, with any restaurant, it depends on whose cooking it. AND it was $22+ for 2 regular sized sandwiches. My regular size was 1/4 inch smaller than my husband's regular size. Subway is about $17+ for a footlong, a 6 inch and a medium drink. Soooo??? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Subway is good too! We only got the sandwiches...
Read moreI ordered once before and the order was fumbled. I received a partial credit from doordash but the food was undesirable. A credit wasn't going to save dinner for me, so I wanted to still try to get a successful COVID order in. I called the store. Daniel, the manager exceeded my expectation by allowing me to reorder with the credit doordash gave while also throwing in additional food we haven't had the chance to try before as a gesture of good will. He tried to refund the doordash order, but doordash apparently strong arms the restaurant too. He was so nice, even offering to drive the sandwich to us himself. I believe whatever training he is there to oversee will result in a great store. Next time we are nearby we will stop in, if for no other reason than to show support. You don't see that kind of customer service often enough anymore. The sandwiches are obviously some of the best, but when it went wrong it was awesome to know our money was not down the drain. Now-a- days you can pay fast food prices for the equivalent of a sit down meal which sucks when it's not right. ...
Read moreStore was super clean and there was a steady group of customers in there even though it was 30 minutes before closing. Unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. The person taking my order acted like I was more of an afterthought. I purchased 2 subs, one being a cheesesteak with no peppers but add mushrooms. It’s not just a dislike, I’m allergic to them. I asked to have mayo and the juice added but was told they didn’t do that. Still I went along. After I payed $39 with a tip for 2 subs, I got home and my cheesesteak was loaded with peppers and no mushrooms which I paid extra for. I tried scraping them out but it’s just too bound together with the meat. The store closes at 9, so I was unable to go and get the correct sub and eat with my family. So I had to throw mine out and make something else. Even if I get my correct order tomorrow, I’d have to purchase a second sub...
