Josie's Pizza Hilltop — Restaurant in Columbus

Super rude on the phone. First time customer, I was excited to try someone local instead of always giving my business to Grubhub. I asked if they had any specials and she said no disgustedly. I was shocked but kept up a positive additude in hopes of getting local pizza. After ordering just pepperoni pizza because she had no interest in suggesting ANYTHING I gave her my address (in the Hilltop-less than a mile away) she said they don’t deliver here! Floral Ave?!? Said I should call the bottoms. LOL Very disappointed. I was shocked and said, still nicely- yes, nicely, never mind I’ll just call GrubHub. Her response- ‘yeah’ and hung up. I love Mikey’s Late Night Slice but they are expensive and I really was hoping to find a good local shop since Dominos exploded. Very disappointed. I have lived in the Hilltop for 14 years and own a small business. I would be mortified and beyond angry 😡 to ever know one of my employees treated a new customer this way. I honestly love this place and their pizza is amazing! However, i am writing this review so the company can know about how RUDE one of their delivery staff is. Tonight I had an older gentleman deliver a pizza to my apartment ( a surprise by the way), and when i answered the door the first words out of his mouth were not very kind and giving in the rudest of tones. " Having a pouch light on sure would have helped, I drove past here three times trying to find it ." I overly apologized and then continued to turn the light on for him, no more did i flip the switch and he shot out "well its a little late for that i already wasted my time!" and then stormed off. I have never had a problem from Josie's before and like i said we overly enjoy their food and previous service but, I have never been so annoyed from a delivery man in my life . I just needed to let this great company know they have a bad apple...

Been buying from josies hilltop for years. Dont know what has changed there. But the quality of food has declined.I usually get delivery. This last one was just another disappointment.They can't seem to get things right.If it ain't burnt pizza its over cooked wings . With the prices going up on everything. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I SHOULD BE TOLD I HAVE TO EXCEPT IT. BECAUSE THEIR TO BUSY TO GET IT RIGHT. Or they will get back to me when they can. So I'm suppose to pay top prices and let my food set cold while they may or may not get around to making this right. Its obvious they are not concerned with taking care of their long time customers. As long as they have business they do care if you ever order from them again.There is no loyalty to there customers. SAME CRAP WE SEE EVERYWHERE ELSE.One more thing this used to be my family's favorite place to eat for years. Now not so much...
