Kiku Asian Kitchen Express — Restaurant in Columbus

I had never heard of this restaurant when it was suggested to me yesterday. My wife placed an order online, and within 5 minutes or so it was ready to go. I'm here to tell you the food was excellent. The service was exceptional, and the staff... Just amazing!

It did not matter it was 10 minutes before they closed. Nothing was out of place, you could not tell they were closing in 10 minutes as you can with most restaurants, especially fast food.

I walked in, my order was packed up & ready to go before I walked in the doors.

Just a reminder, this was an online order that has just been placed. And they were prepared ahead of my arrival.

The price was right, I should say it was very exceptional. The food was excellent... It was hot as it had just been prepared. That was kind of surprised because it was so fast, I expected they used heat lamps like McDonald's and others, but that was not the case.

They did not make my order until they received it online. meaning, it was fresh, very hot, and very delicious! I would encourage anyone who enjoys Chinese food to try it out... and you'll save some money in the meantime!

BTW. The restaurants location is in Midland. directly across from Chick-fil-A, on the right hand side.

It replaced an old Hardee's or some other fast food restaurant that wasn't good enough to make it in this very easy to reach location. It's actually in a perfect place ... You can't get any better / easier, than taking the first right...

I went to get the pop stick (chicken). They only had one in the display at the time. I ask the young lady could I go ahead and get all 5 fresh since I had to wait for them to be cook anyway. I ask her also a question about when I get home, how can I keep them fresh. She thought I was talking about the food there I guess. I don't understand how or why because my home is not in that place. She start acting unkind to me. I just apologize and said I'm not saying your food not fresh. Even though I have got some food there, my daughter and I it wasn't fresh. But I didn't say anything about that food there. I liked the pop sticks. If I have a family gathering I would have order a lot of them. Like a platter for my family gathering. I will NOT now because of the girl attitude, on March 4. 2025 around 1. She was the only one behind the counter, and I was the only customer in the place. After the lady in front of me left. I did see two nice young ladies sitting at the booth that work there, I ask them the same question and they were very very kind and answer my questions I thank them for their kindness and left.. I guess the lady that was behind the counter didn't understanding. She didn't have to get a attitude with someone that was being kind to her just asking a...

My first time eating here. It was great! I actually prefer it over the little black & white 🐼 bear chain and cheaper. The fried rice was delicious! As well as the lo mein noodles. However, I did a sample of the black pepper chicken while inside and it was so good. But when I got home and started eating it, I realized it was way too sweet! I'm not a fan of no sweet tasting meat but bbq so was thinking this would be more on the just seasoned side with salt and pepper. So I ate every thing else except the chicken.
