I have been going to this location for about 4 years and never had an issue till now. About a week and half ago I went through the Starbucks drive thru. At the time their system to pay by phone was down, so I gave them my card. It was about 30 minutes after I left that I realized my card had not been returned to me. I called they confirmed they did have a card. I went and got it back. In this moment I had way too much faith in humanity because I decided not to have my card replaced. I 100% should have - but again just way to much faith that the person who had my card was doing the right thing. That's on me and 100% accept I made that mistake. Fast forward to today - I was actually in line at this Starbucks drive thru when I learned I had a fraudulent charge on my account. I did complete my order that I had just placed right before getting that alert. I did inform two employees about how I had a fraud alert and that I had left my card here about a week and a half ago. They nonchalantly said sorry then one employee started telling me how her relatives couldn't come in to see her during Thanksgiving. Sorry but I don't care. Someone at your store stole my card info and used it. I asked "do you have anyone who works here that likes to go hiking, running or biking alot - Because the charge was for a company called orange mud and they sell hiking, running and bike equipment such as hydration back packs and seat covers." Now i didnt really expect the employee to say oh yea so and so over there loves too. I was more just trying to see their reaction. The employee responded "where would one even do those things in columbus?" Excuse me there are plenty of places to go hiking, running or biking we have a literal bike/walking path that goes through the whole city - we have pine mountain and the little grand canyon not far from columbus. There are plenty of places. The nonchalant behavior and the playing dumb act was very frustrating. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. I know employees can work at different locations so I may not be going to any location here in columbus - or at the very least not go unless their pay by phone system is working and I do not have to hand over my card to any employee. I just wanted to leave this review just incase anyone has the same issue also to warn others that there is an employee that will take your card info if they have the chance. Also if you are an employee of Starbucks and you like to go hiking, biking, running or all three and you tried to use my card info to buy yourself a little Christmas present on my dime - I suggest you evaluate your life choices and start making better ones. Because what you are doing won't get you anywhere. Also, thank you for confirming to me that this is why you should not hold any faith in other humans to do the...
Read moreThis is my favourite Starbucks location! They rarely run out of items. Staff are really friendly and will remember your name and even your favourite order. They are really great with suggesting new items that you may like that they have tried. They do it in an organic way so that it doesn't feel like an upsale.
They are very consistent about cleaning and sanitation. I've never seen staff without mask or mask below their nose since the pandemic started. Very early on in the pandemic all of their staff had really nice mask provided to protect them and the public.
They are very efficient with managing lines so that you don't have a long wait. I have been going for over 6 years and I've only seen a long line a few times when they had reduced hours when the pandemic started and if their doing a promotion, but it is still a shorter line than the other locations in town. They really go through getting the orders right and getting the line down in a few minutes.
This location is very good at keeping the same staff so that you have someone who is really trained in your for me with when you come to order. This is very rare for a fast restaurant even Starbucks. Staff seem to like to jobs in a nice to each other In customers. When new staff are hired they don't seem to mind being near them in assisting them so that they don't get frustrated in the line gets a manageable. They very quickly correct any errors made. I will pass by several locations in town and sometimes have waited coming from out of town to go there. They also have seating inside and outside.
Th staff is diverse and they make everyone feel welcome and equally important.
It is located in a nice small, upscale, and beautiful outdoor shopping mall . It is beautiful and is very safe. It is a great area to walk around and have a meal while enjoying the scenery . Nearby restaurants have outdoor seating and picup for safety in the pandemic. Is very close to flat rock park and summon road for...
Read moreI rarely give negative reviews but this location has been a consistent disappointment from shortages which are clearly outside of their control, constant mistakes with orders, to extremely rude staff. My last four visits have been awful. These two stand out the most.
I went through the drive through 7/24 and ordered a caramel frap. I had paid already so my order showed up on the app. The barista was about to hand me a mocha frap and before he handed to me I told him that wasn’t my order. He got upset and started huffing and argued with me about my order. I smiled to hopefully disarm his anger and calmly retold him my order. I even showed him the app to confirm that he took the order right but made it wrong. He closed the window and remade my drink. He was unpleasant but he got the order right.
Today, 8/3, I placed a mobile pick up order. I arrived and a minute later two other ladies walked in. I was ignored. The other ladies were greeted. The barista was holding my cup but asked the lady that came in after me what her name was for her mobile order. The lady answers and the barista put my cup down to begin making the other ladies drink. I said “excuse me was that my drink order in your hand?” She confirmed it was. I explained that I came first and ordered first so I should be next. Her manager, Chelsea, proceeded to argue with me about order sequence in front of everyone even though I had already confirmed I was next. She stormed off when I placed up my hand to signal an end to the discussion. The barista was very apologetic. Chelsea came back on the floor but never admitted she was wrong nor did she apologize or do anything to correct...
