Let me just start this off by saying, I saw an ad on Facebook about this place, it said "all you can eat crab legs, just $19.99 per person, Saturday dinner and all day Sunday dine in only" for the weekend crab feast so I showed it to my husband and he said he'd be willing to check it out, so Saturday comes around, we head to the restaurant at 3:30 pm, we get there park and walk in, get up to the host stand and the host was like "hello beautiful how many people" i said two, she said "okay and what would you like to drink" my husband and I both said sprite, she wrote it down and then took us to our table, I headed to the bathroom to wash my hands real quick and then headed back to get some food, firstly I had a very difficult time trying to find the plates, took me about 5 to 6 minutes to try and find a plate, only to see that they are stacked under the sushi bar, so I grab a plate and start getting food, first I started with chicken nuggets, shrimp, and white Chinese pasta, and a dinner roll, the noodles tasted good, shrimp was good, and the roll was sticky but good, however the chicken tasted burnt and was cold on the inside, so I didn't finish them, my husband's plate was filled with clams, shrimp, an entire crab, green beans, and potatoes, he said everything but the green beans tasted cold and terrible, everything BUT the green beans, ontop of that he goes to break the shell of the crab open and it explodes open sending shell shards everywhere, (mind you they never gave us gloves or a shell cracker) so he moves on to his second plate, which had corn, mussels, fried spicy chicken, and more green beans, the chicken was undercooked, the corn was cold, the only thing that tasted to his liking was the mussels and green beans, I had finished my first drink and the servers kept walking back and forth refilling people's drinks, it took them 35 minutes to even refill mine and at first they tried to fill it with water when I had sprite, (also they never refilled my husband's drink at all the entire time we were there) so I get my second plate, I headed to the crab legs that we had originally went there for, and the tray was half completely gone, I was only able to get three crab legs before I had an old guy standing way to close behind me clearing his throat for me to move and practically breathing down my neck, I got more rolls and noodles and walked back to the table, (also mind you my husband wasn't even able to get crab legs because people were basically fighting over them and they never refilled the tray either) so I gave him one of mine, he got himself another plate, which had noodles, sesame chicken, bacon wrapped shrimp and rolls, he didn't like the noodles and the chicken was also cold, he only liked the roll and bacon wrapped shrimp, his last plate was jello and two watermelon slices, my last plate, was BBQ ribs, three rolls and a cup of egg drop soup, I ate the soup and rolls and went to try the ribs, ONLY TO FIND A DARK RED STICKY SAUCE ON THE RIBS THAT LOOKED LIKE BLOOD, so I dipped my finger on it and smelled it, it didn't smell like anything at first, so I tasted it, and it tasted so salty and metallic like, so my husband tasted it and breathed through his nose while he did and he told me not to eat it, I asked him why, and he said that it tasted like cough syrup so I didn't touch it, I finished my sprite took our ticket to the counter and guess how much it all was for TWO PEOPLE, $50.10 for two people, $39.84 for the all you can eat buffet part, $5.98 for two sprites and $4.14 tax all in total i paid $50 dollars for food that wasn't even advertised like it said it was, ABSOLUTE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! you're better off taking your money to the new china buffet on Veterans Parkway or Ole times country buffet down on Manchester expressway you at least get your money's worth there with actual decent food quality...
Read moreWe had 3 adults and one baby in my party, walked into and noticed they were busy. We were told to wait, due to not having a clean table. We waited for a few minutes and then got called back to our table. The lady that sat us had no idea where she was sitting us and the host that was showing us to our table didn’t know what table we were supposed to be at and she had to ask the server about what table to sit us at. which wasn’t cleaned off until we got to the table. I ordered a water, my boyfriend a sprite and my cousin a Pepsi. We went and observed the food, the food didn’t look fresh. The general tso chicken and all the fried food didn’t look the best. My cousin had the chicken on a stick, and it was raw in the middle of her bite. She spit it out and showed me and it was in fact not cooked all the way! I seen that they had a sushi bar which everything looked fresh at. I grabbed the first piece and noticed that there was a hair on it. I put it to the side so no one else would grab it and told the man behind the counter and there it sat from the time I put it to the side until we left. I would give the rest of the sushi a 6/10!! I tried the Vietnamese pho with the chicken it was very bland even with the hoisin and Sriracha sauce added. The cook time was very quick! The service sucked! We got sat by one lady and then another lady was our server. I only seen her twice. Once for straws and second time was so she could refill the soy sauce on the tables. No one took used dishes off our table and so it was a bit crowded on the table! We had NO REFILLS ON ANY DRINK IN THE 45 mins that we were there! By the time we were getting ready to leave we had a whole other server?! We had a baby with us and went to bathroom to change her and couldn’t even do that because the changing table just looked absolutely disgusting!! Overall I would give 4/10, but it’s sad that this place just opened like a week ago and already going down hill! Save your money and go to the hibachi grill Buffett...
Read moreThis place was pretty back packed when we went. The front person sat us down and just left us as she didn’t understand what drinks we were ordering. After two plates we still didn’t get our drinks so I had to go grab a two other servers to fix my problem. I fully understand they still trying to figure things out but the system obviously needs improvement. The chairs were so close to each other that it was hard to get out and it didn’t help in the private area when there were people having a group dinner for a kids party.
We tried everything and were disappointed with the seafood selection as it didn’t look like grand opening week pictures. The blue crabs were burnt like they were deep frying them in same oil for the week and only claws were available instead of the normal half body ones.
There were no salt, pepper, or paper napkins on the table to accommodate us. We had to stretch the one napkin that wrapped our utensils for the 45 minutes we were there.
I was looking forward to having a Pho bowl and there was no structure at all on how the process worked to get a bowl. I ask the people behind the window and all I got was an empty bowl from the sushi chef. There was no noodles or instructions to help guide the process so I winged it for 13 minutes and was about to just leave it as no one knew what was going on.
Most of the workers look like at some point worked at the Hibachi of Exit 6 Macon road. Not sure if we’ll...
