This location is now fully open. You order inside on a kiosk. You can also order online and for delivery! There's not a lot of parking out front, this location shares its lot with a few other businesses and sometimes the parking is full.
We got their White Peach Yakult Fizz, White Peach Lychee Green Tea, and Mochi donuts. The Yakult Fizz is delicious, it's bubbly, refreshing, and flavorful! The Peach Lychee is sweet, refreshing, and made well. The donuts are very good as well, made well, light, and chewy. Not every flavor of donut was available this day, but they provided a list of ones I could choose from. Prices for bubble tea range from $6 to $8, depending on toppings and the type of drink. I'm not sure how you order donuts and their hotdogs, but during their soft launch, we ordered at YF Chinese. The donuts are $3.25 a piece if you buy 1-5, but 6 or more is $3 each. They have Korean hot dogs aka the cheese dogs, potato dogs, etc. for $6.50 to $7. Their donuts were delicious, fluffy, and made very well. The favors were good and overall a good treat.
Staff was friendly, they answered all questions that we had. The location is small and has only a few seats. They seem to have a lot of to-go/delivery orders. I'm excited for them to open fully because their stuff is good and I would love to try more!
I would recommend for a refreshing drink, sweet treat, or casual date, or if you're wanting to try...
Read moreThis score is probably a little lower than they deserve, given that their bubble tea is above average for Columbus, but there are so many other small issues. Issues that could easily be resolved.
Firstly, their pricing is notably higher than other bubble tea in the area without being that much better. Enchantea’s higher prices are paired with much higher tea quality, whereas Tsaocaa nearby has similar tea quality with lower prices and better service.
Speaking of service, the workers were surly and didn’t even call out when our order was ready. They were more concerned with their phones. Now I don’t mind if workers who aren’t busy spend time on their phones, but at least put effort into the one customer you have.
Moving on, the mochi doughnuts were served cold and hard. Given the small size of the place, I suspect they expect people to take orders home and reheat the doughnuts in the microwave, rather than stick around.
The space is creatively organized for such a small area. I like that the seating is against the window and the far wall. It creates an open and comfortable feeling in the store. I’m unsure how I feel about the wall seating. While the concrete slabs that makeup stadium-style seating are cold and hard, I really enjoyed the unique character of it. Small cushions and tables are placed on the slabs to make it more comfortable. The cold concrete will probably feel pretty nice during...
Read moreWoof. Tried four different mochi donuts and a creme brulee milk tea, and I was beyond disappointed....especially considering the price point. The guy at the pickup window didn't speak to me, either. The packaging and cups are cute, though.
The mochi donuts, in particular, were bad. Dry and rather hard, not the chewy rice flour texture you'd expect. I hope they were old and that this is not what they're regularly sending out. The flavor of each was not anything great either, and they're super small. Even the basic strawberry one was off. The icing tasted like raspberry. ⚠️⚠️PLEASE CHECK OUT THE MOCHI SHOP'S MOCHI DONUTS INSTEAD⚠️⚠️ (locally-owned and absolutely delicious. Always fresh. No comparison).
The creme brulee milk tea was a bit watery and did not taste like it had any tea in it. The flavor was off. Very disappointing. The tapioca pearls were super squishy and not the typical texture.
Def won't be back. You can find way better options. Again, PLEASE CHECK OUT THE MOCHI SHOP INSTEAD, and please don't think all mochi and boba tea is like the stuff they're serving at this place. Local, small businesses are...
