This is such a cute little cafe and they have plenty of seating and even offer games to play. There's free parking available in the back and street parking if necessary. It's usually pretty quiet and has not been busy the last couple times I've been. The owner and staff are very nice! They're very helpful and service is usually fast.
I've gotten their Taro Strawberry, Thai Milk, and Rose Black Tea with Milk Cap. The Taro Strawberry was delicious, made well, and it had real strawberry bits. The Thai Milk was a bit bland and lacking Thai Tea flavor the last time I got it, but the pearls were made well and yummy. The Rose Black Tea was pretty good, I really liked the milk cap because it was made very well. The only issue I had with each drink was the straw being too small for the pearls because they were getting stuck with every sip, I ended up having to leave the pearls from my drink. Overall, the price and quality of each drink was very affordable and drinks were made well. Most of their drinks seem to be made from powders, but overall, they're still pretty good.
They also offer a small selection of ice cream and waffles. They have various drink options, from teas, smoothies, to milk teas, and coffees. They have various toppings available, so you can customize your drinks! I would recommend this cafe for small groups, casual dates, dessert, game night, or a...
Read moreThis place is really cute, but the woman working when I went in seemed not to know anything about tea. I ordered a Mango Green Tea first. She didn't ask me about sweetness while taking my order. Once I tried it, it was ridiculously sweet, but also was extremely bitter. My husband, who is less picky but more knowledgable about tea, tried it and couldnt drink it either. I tried asking the woman working several times about water temperature and she seemed confused, so I finally asked if they were just using boiling water for all the teas and she confirmed they were. Green tea is bitter when made with boiling water, so that explained that. They should be using water 25-30 degrees cooler.
I then asked for a Peach Oolong tea instead since the proper brewing temp is higher for oolong. This one has a weird chocolate aftertaste, which does not pair well with the peach at all and my husband also hates this one.
I'm a bit surprised the reviews are so high, because I would expect a place like this to know basics like proper brewing temperature and that oolong with chocolate notes probably doesnt belong in a fruit tea. So there goes that $6 and it is highly unlikely we will...
Read moreOKAY— so I’ve never had Boba tea until recently, or at least a good experience with it until I dragged myself and my s/o to this cute cafe.
I tried their Taro, and Dirty Black Tea with boba— AND I LOVED BOTH. I was amazed at how purple the Taro was but it was such a nice color. My s/o got Earl Grey and Matcha Milk, I tried a few sips of his and they were also very good!
The milk caps were also pretty tasty— kind of reminded me of a cheese cake!
Plus the price wasn’t bad at all! Considering the quality and the serving you get, it’s pretty affordable! And the drinks honestly are pretty filling, not sure if it because of the boba or because of the milk put in our drinks but either way I was content!
Would totally come back here to sit and maybe draw stuff, or work on my laptop in a quaint little corner while sipping on more boba tea! Plus the name is adorable, same for the cafe’s interior being so casual yet lovely.
Totally worth the 15...
