Tucked away in a nondescript corner of Columbus lies the city's hidden gem, Phoenix Books: A most curious bookshop for the curious reader.
The first thing I noticed was the staff. They were warm and welcoming, and quite knowledgeable about the myriad lores and legends that comprise the store's esoteric offerings.
There is a quaint charm about the place. A charm that permeates the rooms. During my visit a writer, whom I presumed to be one of the owners, carefully honed his craft. I don't know what he was working on, but his process was utterly fascinating.
I should warn you, dear reader, about the Time Distortion Field. Your sense of time will shift the moment you walk through the door. You know, Phoenix really should consider putting up a sign, or something. Give us a warning.

I work M-F 8a-6p 9a-1p on Saturday, and the store is closed Sundays. So, I go back just after 2p this Saturday and guess what? There's a note on the door informing they're out for lunch and will be back @3p. Came back at 310-15, no one is there.
It's really a great little shop. But don't waste your time trying to go on a Saturday.
Until my job changes, I won't be taking any more chances of wasting my precious little time off trying...

They’re moving locations in the near future to a bigger building that is fully accessible, which they are quite excited about because, being the good people they are, they know the value of a physically...
