Came here for $13.99 lunch buffet and was not disappointed. We were the only ones there when we arrived around noon but 4 more tables were filled while we were dining. Hands down the best paneer saag in Columbus area, texturally spot on and had great cheese flavor. Fresh naan brought to the table after 5-10 min included with lunch buffet that was very very light, great for soaking up the sauces. They had chicken Tikka masala, chicken curry, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken a several other vegetarian dishes. Everything else besides the naan and saag were ok, not bad not great. Most of the chicken was a little dry. Wish there was a lamb dish in the mix, but was still happy with the variety. Our server was a little odd and slow for us being the only table... We had to ask for water after 10min and then 10 min after that asked if we wanted anything besides water to drink, but it was slow so it didn't impact our experience too much. May be different with a dinner rush but nonetheless, I would come back for the lunch...
Read moreI went for Sunday brunch. I arrived at 2:30 and the brunch hours are until 3 PM. All of the items were still fresh and full and hot. Everything was delicious with a nice spice level that should be appealing to first time Indian food eaters, but still has a little bit of heat. A wide variety of vegetarian options. Naan is served to your table hot and delicious, not sitting on the Buffet limp and soggy like many Indian restaurants these days. This is my new go to Indian buffet and I hope you will give it a try! Update 4/20/2024 I have brought four different friends and family members individually for the buffet on weekdays and weekends. All have agreed it is excellent. Even converted one who said previously they didn’t like Indian food. He especially loved the tandoori chicken which he said was moist and flavorful. Multiple vegetarian curry options were on the buffet along with saag and aloo gobi. I was brought Freshly brewed Chai with no milk where most Indian restaurants will not accommodate that...
Read moreA most delicious dinner at this newer family owned Indian place in northeast Columbus. We ate here for dinner and had the chaat appetizer, dal soup, paneer mahkani, chicken vindaloo, and butter nan.
Every single thing was phenomenal tasting! The nan was without a doubt the best we've ever had anywhere, anytime.
Deeply satisfying and highly recommended. The only negative I would mention is the high prices. All the categories-appetizers, entrees, breads, etc. seemed to be at higher price points than comparable establishments. Given that the neighborhood is modest and working class (I know cause I lived there for many years), being this expensive is out of keeping with the area and may be a problem for this establishment's future.
I understand they do have a weekday lunch buffet for $12.99 so that may be the most affordable way to try it out.
So please try this great restaurant while you can. You will be very...
