I love the place. The food is consistently good and the staff is always friendly and helpful but...
I visit this location with a handicapped friend who's either in a wheel chair or using a walker depending on the day. Ever single step she takes requires extreme effort. The handicap parking situation wasn't great before COVID, but since they chose to block half of their handicap parking and over half of their parking near the front door for a drive-thru for well over a year, it's very difficult for her to visit. Once she gets to the door the staff is very helpful but, getting to the door is far more difficult than it should be and far outside of the ADA requirements. It's been that way for over a year now. When management is asked about the plan for solving the problem they clearly state that there is no plan. They stated "we try to leave some spots open in the front", though I'm not sure what they means because there is only one poorly marked handicap spot in a large percentage of the time it's occupied by the non-handicapped because the markings are barely visible.
I'm just really surprised that the owners are so kind and friendly face to face but don't appear to be willing to spend the necessary funds to properly mark off handicap parking spaces for the handicapped guest. From my observation they have quite a few guests with handicap...
Read moreWe had to throw half of our food away due to undercooked chicken breast that was hard and chewy on the outside and gooey in the center! It was gross. We had to spit it out! The sides were decent. The broccoli and chicken cassarole was good. We each had to throw our chicken breast away which was half our meal. I notified the cashier and she said the cook was new. The cook came out and I told him and he just stared at us. They didn't offer us a refund or even a partial refund! They just said, thanks for telling us. I even told them we'd have to go purchase more food elsewhere. We had to go down to Panera Bread to finish eating which I wish we went to first because I had to buy dinner for both...
Read moreI've been coming to this place for quite some time moved away a few years ago came back in December have ate there multiple times since I have been back. I was told that they do not offer children's plates even though I purchased them at this location before they cost 595 you get less of a portion which was perfect for my son who is not even 2 yet but still has a growing appetite. Both the little ladies swore up and down I was wrong and they have not had children's plates in over a year. This used to be my go-to miles to go due to the fact that they were between my house and my work but from now on I will have to go to the Miller and Milgen or Phenix City location that still offers...
