Really wish my experience was different today. They appeared to know how to service my vehicle but unfortunately when my time is not valued the same way I have to pay for their time, my business will have to go elsewhere. 9am appointment seems to mean nothing. I waited over a week and a half for the appointment. To have to call at almost 3:30pm to ask a question about my car in my opinion is very distasteful. My spouse calls and the individual sitting at the front desk acted as if they were in a 3 story building or as though the service department was across the street. He tells him at this time there were no updates he could give him, he doesn't know much. Okay, at that time you could have went to check. My spouse attempts to ask more questions well do you need to keep it overnight, will it be done by closing... again none of those questions could be answered. He tells them I'm on the way to retrieve my vehicle. When they bring me my vehicle, I was then charged 1/2 hour of labor. So that's 30 minutes 🤔 So did you look at it within the 30 minutes of the time of him calling? Again, that was at 3:15-3:30 when he called to check the status. But mind you I had a 9:00AM appointment. Now, if we were met with a "we are perplexed on the issue," I could understand. But its funny, that no one could give my spouse an answer about anything over the phone but the 10-15 minutes later I pull up you're spurring out the things you feel it could be! I feel that was done in order to charge me for something knowing full well you just looked at my vehicle because my spouse called you out on your B.S. And my spouse wanted to ask about getting keys cut for his vehicle, so that business was taken away as well. 1/2 hour of last minute labor, a whole day without a car, a week and a half waiting on the appointment to leave with...

I waited two weeks to show up before they opened, just to be 2nd line & my vehicle boxed into an overcrowded parking lot that you cannot back out of.
Why are there 50 junker cars at this store? It’s not a good look.
I had already agreed that I had no issue waiting 3 hours & paying whatever they wanted for labor.
I care about my car and had already had another audio shop in town mess up some things with my vehicle, so I’m pretty fixed on being the one to drive it where it needs to go unless I’m having mechanical work done. This is an audio shop and I’ve been to plenty that do not care if I drive it to where they can work on it.
The owner (I assume) did not give me any explanation other than his pride was hurt that “if he’s not good enough to drive my car, he’s not good enough to work on it.” I tried talking with him and all he cared to do was hand me my keys and say “have a good day.”
This is one of the shadiest and unprofessional “businesses” I’ve been. I certainly dodged another bullet here in Columbus, GA; unfortunately there’s a couple other bullets I did not dodge.
DO NOT get any audio work, window tinting, etc. done in Columbus if you want quality work

Read moreIf I could rate this business lower, I would. I'm a over 60, retired female veteran. I take meticulous care with & of my vehicle. My windshield wipers were operating sporadically & my usual mechanic admitted to not being able to diagnose the problem. He suggested I try KT. I went directly to the shop & waited in the parking lot 45 min. for them to open. When they did, I explained why I was there. They took down basic info, got my valet key and instructed me to have a seat. At 12:30 pm, I went to the desk to inquire why it was taking so long. I was the first of only 2 people to even enter the premises in 3 hours ! An extremely rude man told me that things like this can't be timed. I then asked for my key as I did not desire their services. He explained to me that they charge $80/hr. whether they finish or not !! I told him that there was NO WAY I would be paying $240 dollars to sit in their waiting room while my blood sugar dipped. I said I would call 911 and WTVM news if he didn't return my key to me. He continued to threaten me for a bit before relenting. I have never in my military or civilian life been treated so badly. These people don't care about anything but the dollar sign. Stay away at all cost. I wouldn't go back to Kar Tunes even if they gave me lifetime free...
