OH Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Columbus

Listen, I decided to order from this location today because the East Broad Street location was closed. It's not the end of the world, but there are a few noticeable differences between the two locations that I feel need addressing.

First, this location imposes a $35.00 minimum for delivery, which isn't an issue at the East Broad Street location. When I placed my order, I requested 12 Spicy Garlic, 12 It Will Be Tears, and 12 Hot Buffalo wings—all prepared the same way: fried hard, extra wet, with ranch. Unfortunately, this location seems to have missed the mark on multiple fronts. They ran out of ranch, didn’t fry the wings hard, and didn’t provide the extra wetness I specifically requested.

What’s more disappointing is how the "It Will Be Tears" wings were handled. Unlike East Broad Street, this location doesn’t toss the wings in the sauce. That’s fine, but a courtesy call to inform me of this difference would have gone a long way. It seems this location is more focused on pushing orders out the door than connecting with their customers.

Now, about the sauce. The Hilliard location’s "It Will Be Tears" sauce is undeniably hot, and I understand why they avoid tossing wings in it. However, the sauce itself is inconsistent with the East Broad Street location. Hilliard’s version brings heat, but East Broad’s sauce not only has heat but also a depth of flavor that’s missing here. If the two could find a balance, it would make for a truly great sauce.

Extremely disappointed with my visit last night. I absolutely love the locations downtown and on Dillmont Dr, but im not so sure about the new one in Hilliard. I ordered my usual - 10 boneless in awesome sauce. I had a 10min drive home and they were hard to bite into, crunchy on the ends (inedible) and dry on the inside. I can only guess the chicken was overcooked. I had to throw the entire batch away. I attached a pic of the downtown serving (top) to the one I picked up last night (bottom). It was getting to the point of ripping apart the chicken to get to a spot worth chewing. Very upsetting, esp since its $11 down the drain. the awesome sauce tasted -- awesome, for the record.

I only wish i had discovered this place and their amazing wings earlier. Honestly I am not sure what took me so long to try their wings, possibly bc the chicken coop salad was just an easy order for me and my husband lives by their loaded potato skins and pizza....but tonight I had hands down THE BEST WINGS OF MY LIFE. I am sure I will never order anywhere else again. And being that I have been doing keto, salads and chicken, and seafood are pretty much ruling my life right now.... do yourself a favor, if you like wings, and make sure to support our local business OH Pizza and Brew !!!!! Holy gramolies. Lemon Pepper blew my mind!!!!!!!! I went to their newest location on hilliard rome rd south, but I know they have locations downtown and Galloway and maybe 1 or 2 others. Thanks!!
