I stayed here for 4 nights by myself because I was in town for work. I had an issue with payment because my work was supposed to pay for the room but somehow they didn’t so my card that I thought I was giving over for a security deposit got charged $400. I went over to the front desk to solve this issue and nobody would come help me, it was probably around midnight, until the front desk workers alarm went off and he woke up from his nap then finally came and helped me. I’ve never once gotten upset with hotel staff my entire life but the man who helped me was demeaning and rude. He said at one point “why do you care if you’re just going to get reimbursed?” And he wouldn’t let me switch cards so that my company could pay for it. So I had to wait 4 days to get reimbursed and just take the hit to my bank account in the meantime. I understand that it wasn’t their fault my company forgot to pay and I wasn’t angry as I went to go talk to the front desk but as I tried to resolve it calmly and respectfully the front desk worker just kept being rude and kept trying to escalate the situation.
My room was fine except for the fact that the shower didn’t work. It let out a little tiny stream of water at full power and was freezing cold.
And when I went to check out I asked for an extra hour because I didn’t have an appointment until later in the day and the front desk worker said no because they were super booked and needed the room. I didn’t see a single other guest at the hotel my entire stay there and there was never more than one other car in the parking lot.
I’ve never left a bad review before but it was just a...
Read moreThe room was fantastic. My problem was the rewards program associated with the booking. I was traveling by car. I booked my room on line at a rest stop. The room rate showed 7000 points and a $10 gift card. At check in I asked about my 7000 points and $10. Gift card. The polite desk clerk said he entered my rewards number but knew nothing about the rewards offer. I believe he should have know to inform me that I needed to register before check out to receive the reward. On further review i never received the rewards. My new problem is also with the call center help. Even after stating to the rewards call center the desk clerk new nothing about the promotion they still would not validate the booking to receive the reward. It is my opinion that the hotels should know of the promotions to be able to properly assist valued customers. This would be the way to do business. Again the hotel was great. The clerk could have been better informed and more helpful to customers regarding promotions . The rewards call center was a complete disaster. Those of you using Radision rewards be aware of the fact that if you are not completely ready to jump thru the hoops and read all the back pages on the Country Inn and Suites Radision rewards program you're not going to get any satisfaction about a dispute. This program should be know by all desk clerks to properly assist those customers. It shouldn't be this difficult to receive the rewards . You already have signed up for the program but then you have to register again for individual rewards programs. It's...
Read moreStrange odor in hotel. Managers family was in the breakfast room having dinner, thought that was very strange. But my biggest issue was inside the room itself. The room was obviously remodeled recently. Underneath the HVAC system they installed a small area of laminate flooring, bordered by metal trimming and then the carpet. The metal trimming should have never been used in this area. It’s right next to the bed. I will upload photos to show the issue in more detail. Please note these metal pieces are cut with very rough & sharp edges/corners, not flush, and the nails that secure it down are protruding out and above from the surface. Like I said it’s right next to the bed, so when I got out of bed in my barefeet and began to walk around the bed I snag my foot on it. Thank God it didn’t tear my skin open as I am on blood thinners and would have literally bled out all over that hotel room. I recommend anybody staying here go with great caution especially if you have little ones crawling around. I give this hotel a one star because of this safety issue. The room should never have used this material in this area like this, and whoever signed off on it is obviously not very intelligent. And lastly if you’re going to respond to our reviews I suggest something more sincere other than copy and...
