OX-B's — Restaurant in Columbus

A few days ago, I spoke with Andrew regarding my canceled meal on May 9th. He was incredibly kind and apologetic, and we had a great conversation. He offered a gift card to make up for the experience, which I truly appreciated.

Today, my husband and I decided to give OX-B on High Street another try—and I'm glad we did. The food was delicious! We sampled their new Gator Bait BBQ sauce, which had a great flavor, along with a few other wing sauces. The cheesy waffle fries were also a hit.

I’m really glad I gave it another chance. The food is definitely worth trying, and the customer service made a lasting impression.

I was looking forward to eat some OXB wings and some other food items they had. I submitted my order at 918p on May 9th via ubereats. As time went by, I realized my order was taking forever to be picked up. Almost 3 drivers were assigned to my order. Finally, I received a message saying my order was canceled at 1010p. If there was a problem, I wish I knew way in advance so I could order food elsewhere. Now, most restaurants are closed. I tried this place for the first time today for date night because of all the great reviews. And I’m so confused why it has such rave reviews. We got chili cheese fries, smoked wings with spicy garlic sauce, side ranch, mozzarella sticks, white mac n cheese and the chicken and fries box. The chili and cheese sauce were lacking any flavor, almost a powdered taste like they came out of a can or bag. The wings had no heat to them at all, the sauce just tasted like garlic. The ranch was watery/runny. The mozz sticks were typical what ya get anywhere else, so no complaints there. No Mariana for dipping though as I guess they forgot as it was takeout. Overall I wont eat here again, the food lacks seasoning and flavor. I wouldn’t recommend. I spent $60 for subpar food and am so disappointed. I’ll just have to stick with Roosters for my wing, ranch and chili...

So disappointed. Menu looked great online. Arrived to find it was not actually a restaurant but just a screen kiosk to order your own food and then seat yourself at the bar next door until they texted that your food was ready. 25 minutes later we received the text and picked up our food from the counter. “Chicken and Waffle fries” were stone cold, and the purchased extra mac&cheese topping was 8 noddles on top. Not at all as pictured. “Smoked wings” were clearly boiled and the hot sauce was Franks red. Frozen microwaved wings would be better. Fortunately portions were tiny, so there wasn’t much to endure.
