By far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and reviewed in over 20+ countries.
Let's start with the amazing decor. It's all Ohio based and is well done, new (50s style though) , and fresh. From the John Glenn chair, Archie bobble heads, Ohio state yearbooks, and Ohio flag blanket I was so happy with all the decor and the extras. The reason I stayed here in the first place was due to coming in to the dining area and taking pictures during Christmas.
Comfort of the beds and the couch were amazing and the pillows weren't cheap and were actually amazing. I wanted one!
The amenities are top notch from the soaps, safes, refrigerators, gym and being connected to a coffee shop that you get free coffee, or attached to the shake shack where you get free fries. Location is the best in the city. Right in the middle of the short north arts district and so close to the arena and the convention center. Easy walk to either. Your choices for food and shopping are immense.
The staff gets a huge shout out. Especially HEATHER. We were treated so kindly and with actual care and when my family came in late with a strange request for chocolate dessert really late, she made a number of calls and did research and sent us to one of the best restaurants that should have needed a reservation. Anson dessert at a great price. Nothing but the best. Deserves a raise no question. That alone will make me a repeat customer!
My only complaints were on the 10th floor the wifi was hard to get in the end room and I think that made the direct TV a little spotty and annoying. As well the showers had a ledge and no door so they drained a lot onto the floor and even into the room. Easy to fix with a towel though, but doors may be in order
Waters in the room were 5 dollars, but they advertise the app puff for delivery and it was great to get water and...
Read moreThis hotel was not a positive experience. My 11th floor room was infested with fruit flies, and when I told them they said sorry all the rooms are booked and we can’t move you. Soon after I found out that they did have other rooms available. Then once I was approved to move, the next room on the 9th floor also had fruit flies and on top of that it had mosquitos!! I was immediately bitten in my nostril, very weird and annoying. Also, my sheets were dirty and had used items in the bed sheets like used soap (strange) which told me the sheets had not been changed. The staff wasn’t surprised nor apologetic. They said they’d send someone up and were very nonchalant. I gave them the exact time I’d be leaving so they could clean the room and they did not clean the room while I was gone. When I came back and asked has someone handled the room they gave excuses and said your sheets were changed but the room was not cleaned. Well that was untrue, the sheets were not changed. I tried getting the room cleaned 4 times and gave 4 reminders, and the ball was still dropped. Right now I’m sleeping on dirty sheets and fighting mosquitos and fruit flies. They need to handle the insect infestation. Also everything was damp, the towels were damp and the room was incredibly humid. The room while tidy, was far from clean. The furniture was dirty, the OH pillows and blankets are old and dingy. The water kettle for instant coffee was dirty and used. I do not recommend this hotel. The staff while nice were constantly on their cell phones and indifferent which I found to be...

Pros Clean hotel, walking distance to bars and restaurants.
Cons Worst customer service I've ever experienced! We drove 8 hours from Philadelphia to stay here for a music festival. A few days ago my wife saw on their website that they were offering a promotion to stay 3 nights get one night free. We are staying here 5 days and the last day to do the promotion was today. We both work full time, have kids live the normal busy life juggling it all. Since we were checking in on the last day of the promotion we said awesome we'll show them the promotion when we get there. At check in we showed the woman at the desk the promotion. She said we had to call reservations because she couldn't put it though on her computer. She gave me the number I called reservations (while standing at check in counter) to say hey we're here checking in and want to use this promotion since today's the deadline. She was incredibly rude said no we needed to call before our cancelation window to redeem that. I explained the website says nothing about a cancelation window and the only reason I didn't call is because we figured it would be easy to do when we checked in. She was like nope if you cancel now and rebook using the promotion while standing at check in not only will you not get a Night free we will charge you even more then you are paying now!! We are new customers and only made our reservation 10 days ago. Needless to say we won't be back, beware of scam...
