Have had such an immense number of negative experiences at the Hilliard-Rome location, I thought I might as well try a different location. Seems the problems stem farther than just a single location. It seems this is a COMPANY WIDE ISSUE. Thought I would stop here for lunch around 1 today only to see they were a bit understaffed. That wasn't the issue. Waited in line for quite a while, ordered my food, and then was given the wrong sandwich. The first sandwich which I was given was not only incorrect, but messily/lazily put together. I go up to the counter to be interrupted mid-sentence by the manager that was expediting that lunch rush and then handed a sandwich that was charred to a black crisp on the bottom. After returning the burned sandwich, the manager took the plate and threw it which caused it to slam onto the floor loudly. I not only witnessed this unprofessionalism and attitude personally, but also watched as several customers were given the same indecent attitude. Is this truly who you give the managerial position to? Someone who has no problem or second thought about treating customers rudely and acting ridiculous during a lunch rush? Being in the restaurant industry for 6 years, I would never have showed my customers that I was stressed under the pressure of a rush or gave them attitude because of their lack of organization or efficiency? Reevaluate your company values. For the price customers pay for the food, I would expect...
Read moreGone super downhill. The bosses are super unprofessional, so unorganized. I'm usually leanient on businesses especially right now, but no one knew what was going on. Got an iced coffee , said they were out of ice and if we wanted it (for our ICED coffee we paid for before they told us this) they had to get it from the back. Then, they made us fill our own cold coffee. But they were out at the drink station. When I told them this they all acted confused, except for one employee who was rushing around stressing trying to figure out how to make it. My partner asked if he could just get a strawberry lemonade instead, and the manager said "that's like a $3 difference and I don't even know if we have strawberries." Uh, alright. So we waited. And once the coffee was done the ice had melted, and the iced coffee batch was still warm. It was watery, warm, "iced" coffee. They could've at least had their stock noted and told us what they were out of before we ordered and paid for our stuff. I didn't even dare to ask for my money back. Then they give us attitude over being confused as to what was wrong. Also, I have gone to get my Cobb salad multiple times and each time there's at least 1 ingredient missing that wasn't stated to me when I ordered. Super annoying. And the salad bowl sizes are always changing. Safe to say I'm over this Panera and will be making the trip to sawmill road...

$45 plus tip for.... half-full mediocrity. "Would you like a cup or a bowl of soup? You get more with a bowl." they said. True, but they only fill up the bowl halfway. And if you pour a cup of fountain drink into that empty bowl... it fills up the same amount of space. So I wonder how small the cup of soup is. And it comes with Half a sandwich.... that looks like a quarter cut of a bun. I mean, I'm no geometrist but I know what 15 min looks like on a clock. And if you order the Whole italian sandwich, well I'm not sure how you bake your submarine loaf of bread to get a rounded half and a flat half, but maybe you just used the end and middle and saved the other third for someone else's 'half' sandwich. Oh, and also, we wanted the smallest grilled cheese with bacon added.... but they couldn't upgrade the small $6 grilled cheese in their P.O.S. system. We had to order the $8.69 grilled cheese so their P.O.S. system could add bacon for $3. And lastly, we ordered a hot chocolate. Apparently, a $4 hot chocolate comes in a 16oz cup and half of that cup is whipped cream that we didn't ask for.
If you want to pay twice as much for half the food, then by all means, stop by and half a...
