Came last Friday about 2 hours before they closed. I arrived in the middle of the time range the Papa John's app predicted the pizza would be done. Several people were waiting ahead of me for pick up. After about 15 minutes, those people cleared out, and my pizza still had not been called. I sat down to wait about 10 more minutes and the woman who had been working the cash register finished her shift and left. No one check on us, or asked why we were waiting. A new young lady came up to the register as we asked her about our order. She explained that there had been a mix up and our pizza had left with another order. She offered to cancel our ticket, but we elected to wait and have the pizza remade. We needed to wait ten more minutes. We sat down again and waited about 15 more minutes. They had not called for us (we were the only people waiting in the shop for the last 30 minutes aside from employees),so I went up to the counter again. Our new pizza had been sitting on the rack waiting to be handed off, but no one had communicated when that happened. The new cashier handed the pizza off with an apology, but that was it. I'm not sure if there was a manager on shift, but I was so surprised that no one of senority came over to apologize, or even ask why we had been standing there for so long. If I had not gone up and asked for the pizza to be remade, it seems like no one would have told us that there was a mistake (and we don't know when they realized before I asked). Our remade pizza was still warm, and tasted as expected, but the service was really lacking, especially since it appeared that they were...
Read moreMy boyfriend tried to oder from Papa Johns on Milgen road in Columbus, ga tonight. 7/14/20 . it was getting close to 10:00 which is closing time. They asked his name and said " you're a no delivery zone". He asked why. They wouldn't tell him. He has been ordering from this certain Papa Johns for 10 years or more and it always gets delivered. He has never ever had a problem. We've always paid for our food and gave them a tip. They were always polite and so were we. Never ONE issue, until tonight. They hung up on him. He called back several times wanting to speak with a manager. All he wanted to know was why. They repeatedly hung up on him and never would let him speak to a manager. The last time they told him " if you keep calling we're calling the police" and of course yet again, hung up in his face.
This was extremely unprofessional. If they have a good reason for not wanting to deliver to this address, fine. I don't believe they have one. We have been a very good customer until today. Even for pick up, we will never order from Papa Johns again.
But, we did order from Pizza Hut and they gladly took our money and gladly delivered. This is unprofessional and needs to be addressed. You do NOT treat customers this way. I will make sure everyone I know knows about this and if they use this certain Papa Johns, i will make sure they never do again.
Props to Pizza Hut!!!!
This is the Milgen...
Read moreBottom line up front, Manager told me her name was Dominic, which Iâm skeptical based on the tone of her voice. I waited for over 1 hour and 30 minutes for a pizza delivery already paid for and treated like a third world country citizen. 3 phone calls later I was delivered the pizza and the manager, âDominicâ female with an attitude, didnât have the littlest interest in listening to anything I had to say. Obviously they have enough busyness to not care about their customer service. Iâve been a logistics officer for over 15 years and even thought their pizza tastes good, I will not be ordering pizza from Papa Johns for the rest of the time Iâm stationed in Fy. Benning, GA. This location specifically delivers to the Midland area. Very disappointed in the managers customers service and even sad, because the delivery personnel weâve been receiving the pizzas for the last year was outstanding. But I donât have tolerance for excuses, and if youâre not willing to take responsibility for your own business, I will not spent my hard earned money on you. Customer service should be any business #1 priority and it obviously wasnât for this âDominicâ manager of Papa Johns. Like o told her over the phone, I donât expect this to make a difference, since Papa Johns have enough business to care about any...
