So I ordered food from this restaurant via Uber eats. I ordered their kenke platter and I also ordered fufu and light soup with meat and fish. My food came and the light soup was with just meat and no fish. I called to let them know and the first guy I spoke to just said okay I’ll let them know, no apologies, no show of interest in what I was saying and he hung up the phone. He calls me back to ask for my last four of my phone number, which I gave to him and he hung up again. At this point I was done with them because he kept hanging up the phone without saying anything. About 5 minutes later I received another call from them and it was a different guy. Thought he was about to make sense of the whole situation but instead worsened it. He goes, you ordered fufu and light soup right? I said yes, he said the reason we said comes with fish and meat Is because we cooked the soup with the fish but you can’t see the fish. I said how much sense does that make? It said comes with meat and fish so don’t say comes with meat and fish when the fish cannot be seen. He starts going back and forth with me and I end up just hanging up the phone. When I went to take a screenshot of the menu, I discovered they had edited it and took the fish out and now it says comes with meat. That is to show they knew the menu was misleading. Will never patronize them again, a simple sorry would have fix everything but instead they were rude and disrespectful. Food was not even worth the price and could tell it was microwaved and not freshly made. This place is not worth the hype or my hard earned money. This is an update to your response! The food presentation is exceptional! Picture perfect!!
The meal was expertly prepared. I particularly lovvvvvvvvve that the Waakye contains a generous amount of beans. This is a great option for vegetarians and vegans, by the way. Way to get healthful, fiberful plant protein.
The portion size surprised me. It is definitely worth the price.
The stews are mwah! Just the right intensity of spice to smash any cold. The stew in the smaller bowl in particular is sinus-clearing; I recommend it if you are suffering from a cold or if you have nausea. It's quite a remedy.
The goat meat pieces are flavorful, tasty and chewy. Not over-seasoned or over-fried.
The salad on the side is fresh and clean.
The angel hair pasta side serving is theeee perfect texture!
I am very happy about this meal. I recommend this restaurant and I recommend this meal 100%!
