My FIRST time eating at Sonic. Absolutely THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced anywhere . If I could have rated -5 for service and -5 for atmosphere , I would have. As for the atmosphere, it was the rude, toxic energy I received from the employee I dealt with. I ordered a corn dog and tater tots using the drive through window. Got my food and pulled to a parking spot to check my order. Popped a tot in my mouth and it was like biting into the Griswold's turkey ( IYKYK ) ! Very overcooked and hard on the outside with barely any potatoe on the inside. Right then, ' Gia ' , as her name tag said, came out to give another customer their food. I got her attention, showed her the tots and asked for another, since these were not edible. She told me to pull around to the window. I had to wait behind 7 cars to have what I already paid for, replaced. After sitting in line for 20 minutes, I decided to just get refunded for the tots. A red headed young girl opened the window, asked me if I was the person who wanted the replacement, then tried to hand me the bag that was already sitting there for who knows how long. I told her I would rather just get a refund at this point. She turned to Gia and told her. Gia came to the window and asked me if I wanted a refund. I told her yes because I should not have had to wait in line again for something I already paid for. She was not happy about the situation that SHE brought upon herself by allowing such food to be served. I had to wait a few more minutes until she gave me my $1.99 refund without saying a word. I counted the change she gave me. She shorted me a nickel. Some may think this petty of me, but at that point I wanted the FULL refund. Gia and the red headed girl ignored the window while I sat there trying to get their attention and other customers waiting behind me for their food. I finally got her attention and she opened the window. Again, not saying a word, just looked at me. I told her about the nickel and said at this point , I wanted it. She got in the register , gave me the nickel, told me to give her the inedible tots, which I did, then slammed the window shut in my face. From the interaction between her and the red headed girl I assume she (Gia) was the nighttime manager. If this is the case, Sonic needs to find someone who knows what customer service is! The example she set for the other employees was horrible at best. This was the Sonic on Broad St. down from Mt. Carmel East Hospital where I had been visiting a friend in the CCU. This was also the first time I had been able to eat that day. Not much appetite left after this rude encounter but, at least the corn dog was good.

Extremely disappointed in the entire experience SONIC has to offer. I can get over the poor customer Service. It seems like all fast-food restaurants have adopted the same business model and unfortunately SONIC is leading the charge on how to be the worst at it, at this particular location. The business model I'm referring to is have teenagers run your business into the ground. After all it's just fast food. It's not the world's most accessible food type where people continue to come back. Anyway I'm getting off beat here. The jumbo popcorn chicken tastes like it eas freeze dried and then deep friend. The fries were overcooked. The SONIC burger we ordered had cheese even with he receipt stating it should have it. The slushie was missing a flavor and was everything but a slushie. It was basically juice. I mean I see why this place is failing. People come for the food and the food is the problem. I hope they get it together because this ain't it.

I visited this establishment to purchase a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, but I was disappointed by the lengthy wait time of at least 10 minutes. Furthermore, I was surprised to find out that they do not accept Apple Pay. It is concerning that they have not upgraded their payment processors. As I am currently writing this review, my food has yet to be served. Additionally, I requested a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich without the bun. I cannot understand why it is taking so long for such a simple order. I hope my food arrives promptly as I am pressed for time. I would advise against visiting this place if you have urgent commitments. Also still in line 15minutes later. Wowww it's been so long and the worker is just chilling. I have to leave and I am a secret shopper.

Absolutely terrible service. I pulled up to the drive-thru and they made me wait for about 6 minutes before finally someone answered after shouting into the mic. After ordering I proceeded to the drive-thru window where I had no greeting whatsoever. She was very rude and didn't pay any attention to me as she took my card and gave it back to me. I did get my food back quickly but only gave me my breakfast burrito and cold tater tots. Then I waited for my drink and she never came back to the window I waited for about another 6 minutes and trying to shout and get their attention and honking my horn but nobody came to the window. I had to go park my car and walk in and the doors were locked so I had to pound on the door in the window until finally someone from the back so me and let me in. Once I got into the restaurant I was trying to explain to the lady while I was there I don't think she even spoke English because she looked at me with complete confusion and acted like she didn't even know what I was saying. She just sat there staring at me with her hands up and didn't say a word. Then finally the woman that serve me came to the front to where I was standing she said what is wrong I said you never gave me my coffee and she said plain as day.. "oh sorry".. was no sincerity behind it whatsoever she could honestly care less. Then after that terrible experience I got on the road finally and I was late getting back to work. Come to find as I ate my burrito I was waiting to take a bite out of the sausage mixed in with the eggs and cheese.. they didn't even put sausage in the burrito!!.. absolutely terrible if you are reading this whole story do not go...

I have visited this location on and off for the last 10 years. I went through the drive thru a few weeks ago and for the last time. I swear every time I go there is a problem and here we go again. This time their system is down it'll be 20 minutes or so before they can take orders well I was on my lunch break so I went back to work hungry, the time before that cash only after waiting behind 4 cars so I pulled off, another time there were 2 cars in front of me waited for like 20 minutes and no one ever moved so I left just wasting gas and time what a joke, employees never seem to care, another time got my food and the order was wrong so I exited my vehicle and knocked and then was told I'd have to wait in line again to get my order changed I wasn't doing it so left again unsatisfied and I think they have good food on the rare occasion they get it done right. I never have problems like this with other nearby restaurants look at the Chick Filet right next door its always packed and has great service this Sonic is in a great location but is always dead and its not surprising it has been poorly run for many years. The first Sonic in Central Ohio opened in Whitehall in February 2006 which is now demolished and might I add there were 20 Sonics by 2012 in Central Ohio and the service was so bad at all of them there are only 3 left. Its not at all surprising I really wish they would get their act together but I don't think its ever gonna happen. Sonic you have dissapointed us all around...
