All Ur Favs — Restaurant in Columbus

I tried ordering from All Ur Faves for a second time, given that the first time had some serious issues and took forever... yet the main entree tasted amazing.

This review is based on the second order only.

I ordered the Jamaican Beef Patty, the Somali Rice with goat, Ur Fave sauce, and 4 toppings (corn, lettuce, onions, and pinto beans), mango lemonade, and 1 order of rocky road brownies.

The Jamaican Beef Patty may have been the best one I have ever had. The "brownies" showed 2 brownies included in the picture and it said brownies (plural), but only received 1. The brownie tasted good, nice crust and soft on the inside. Tasted like a cross between a cake and a fudge brownies, but the sugar had not fully cooked down (slightly gritty).

The Somali Rice was another story entirely. It included the toppings I asked for as well as tomatoes, which I cannot eat, and included no sauce. The goat was very hard to eat (was not tender) and the rice was dry without the sauce. They also included a banana to my surprise.

I called the store and they didn't answer. I called a second time and they answered. I told the person that answered the call that I received a banana for some reason and she told me that Somali Rice traditionally comes with banana, so they include them sometimes. I told her about the issues I had with the Somali Rice and she did say, "I'm sorry". I told her that as a result I couldn't eat much of the Rice dish and she said sorry again. I paused on the line to see if there was going to be any offer of customer service, they could have sent out some sauce, they could have offered to remake it, or any number of things... but there was dead air. She eventually asked if I was still there, I said yes. She once again said she was sorry. I paused and asked if a manager was there or if she was the manager on duty. She said ahe was the Manager and only after I asked her that did she say, next time you order we can include some extra sauce or give you a free dessert. I told her that I would not be ordering from there again. She said that she was sorry to hear that.

The customer service was non-existent. The food was hit or miss. The advertising did not match what you receive. I would not suggest this restaurant. It is a great concept, but they need to consolidate their menu and specialize on delivering consistent quality food every time and teach their staff what great customer...

Dear owner My five star is for the owners very honest reply to customer reviews. At RRC we try ourselves to correct the way all customers especially with negative reviews to educate the process of preparing and serving food. Like different dialects of the same language that also translates to food. Growing up in an Italian neighborhood in NY everybody's mom made a different style of their families traditional Tomato sauce(gravy in NY) and meatballs. Not one tasted like my Mama's. But as explained by my beloved Grandmother born in the late 1800s she always expressed concern to explain that everyone who came over to America from Italy to Ellis Island came from different parts of that country and everywhere in that country there are over thousands of different dialects of the same Italian sauce and meatballs. Being a retired celebrity Chef (meaning cooking for them). I interpret all food in that way. Whether it's One burger joint vs another or Chinese or Italian and my beloved steak houses. Your way of stating the critiquing way you do is slightly risky but very educational and direct, with better outcomes for your business. I live locally here in Ohio now. And miss the foods from NY and Boston. If you are an on premise working owner. I will ask for you by name when we check you out with my family. Came here for the first time. We ordered: loaded fries as pictured with beef, chicken Philly with mozzarella sticks, a kids meal with chicken wings and onion rings, a chicken sandwich with fries, chocolate raspberry crepes, and watermelon lemonade. I will start by saying the loaded fries are worth ordering. You get a large portion that could feed two people, they’re full of toppings, the cheese sauce is delicious AND you get the option of Mac n cheese on top. I asked for the Mac n cheese on the side. The Mac n cheese is delicious as well it’s not a creamy pasta but a flavorful pasta. First you get a sweet kick and then a spicy kick. I have never had Mac n cheese like that before. My husband loved his Philly which was a large sub and the mozz sticks he said were ** GOOOODDD. Our child ate his meal or rather inhaled it. He was very happy. As the food was being prepared we were asked for preferences and given options. If we asked for their preference they would tell us how they liked theirs typically made. There were two people working and had our food done in about 15 minutes which in my opinion is great timing. The crepe was amazing as well. The flavors were really good just could have used a softer shell. Overall, My husband has asked me to bring this to him for lunch soon and we’ll be coming back in the near...
