Service was excellent. Friendly.
The food was way overpriced.
My sister and I ordered the cheesesteak. The bread is good but to big and thick for the sandwich. The bread masks the flavor of the meat. I couldn’t even taste cheese. The sub needs different bread or more meat since it doesn’t have much on it. Now you can order more meat on your sub but then the price would be well over 20 dollars. My wife got a Italian and again there was not much flavor to it. The fries were fine. Nothing to write home about but not bad. The Ranch must be a bulk hidden valley which is really nothing to talk about. The teezers were good with sour cream.
The kids pizza bread was soft. The red sauce tastes like a straight tomato paste with maybe a little tomato sauce mixed in. And the cheese is bland.
My nephew had boneless chicken tenders which were very dry.
Overall the service was good. The place was clean. Many TVs to watch sports. The volume was really loud and couldn’t hear anyone at the table. But they turned some of the sets down by us which made it more comfortable. Large bar and didn’t bother the “family” side of the place. Looks like a great place to watch sports, drink beer, have some appetizers and hang with friends. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go to the submarine house for another sub. If I want to pay a high price for a sub I would rather go to jersey mikes over this place. And if I want a awesome cheesesteak I would visit penn station subs. However to hang with friends and drink some I would...
Read moreWent tonight with my boyfriend. I thought I ordered a Medium boneless ($15) to share. When the wings arrived, we felt they were a fair price based on how many we received. Well, it gets worse. When the bill came, apparently I had ordered the large wings ($25). We both had a beer (one tall and one short) and we shared a side- not appetizer- of fries. Our bill was over $40!!! For $40, we could have gone to a sit down restaurant and both gotten full entrees, with sides of their own! I can’t believe this place is still in business charging what they do. I feel taken advantage of. Part of me wonders if we did order the medium and got charged for the large, but I can’t remember what I said with 100% certainty, and I assume the ticket tells the kitchen what to make... oh well. Food was good tasting, which is why it gets 2 stars, but beyond overpriced. We will...
Read moreThis was my first visit. My brother-in-law raved about their cheese steak sandwiches when he lived in Dayton, so when they opened in my hometown I decided to give them a try. I ordered a cheese steak sandwich to go. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are decent (tip: sign up for their mobile alerts and get specials every week and a welcome offer of a 8" sandwich for $3.99).
The sandwich comes on either white or wheat, and "the works" includes lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, and a red pepper sauce. I got the white bread, and no lettuce or tomato (sounded weird on a cheese steak). The sandwich was pretty good. Way too much mayo, so next time I'll just leave it off. The pepper sauce was awesome and really made the sandwich. It's not hot, but it's tangy...
