This particular Taco Bell location at 6140 Sunbury Road has the best drive thru staff of any restaurant in Columbus and I challenge you to find a better one. This is a best-kept secret that I feel shouldn't be secret (and looking at the other Google reviews, I smile because I see that the excellent customer service here really isn't a secret). I've been going to this Taco Bell location for 8 years since I moved into a house nearby in Sunbury Woods, and their drive thru employee John A. (who has been there since the year I moved) is a huge reason why I frequent here. He is very professional, accurate, friendly, courteous, and thorough. In that 8 years, I have never had a single incorrect order with John at the window. He's really frickin' good at his job. Read morePoor kid at the counter had horrible training but tried hard. Pretty much forced me to order something different because he couldn't find the button. Forgot to ring me up for a taco. While watching them make food, a young man dropped the spatula in the TRASH CAN , picked it straight up, didn't skip a beat, put it directly on food, had to ask them to get a clean utensil for my friends order. So, had to buy a separate order for what was forgotten, and they say they have no pennies, so everyone is just getting shorted change. During this, two drive thru customers from the over flowing line came in with their wrong orders. Still did not receive my taco. Got home, found a hair in what I did receive. Tried to call and speak to a manager before writing this review, rang rang rang and dial up nose.... very dissatisfied with the training, cleanliness , speed , thru it all never got an apology .. very bummed, been waiting for this location...
Read moreThis place literally never gets my order right. Ordered a quesadilla combo, and they forgot the quesadilla. Order a bean burrito with no onions and they put onions on it 100% of the time. Unless I only order 2 simple things off of the dollar menu, I simply don't get what I ordered here. And it's not a "too busy" thing. Last time, there were 3 cars in the drive thru in total.
I'm not unfriendly toward anybody, I always round up for charity, etc. Not like I'm yelling at people or throwing food through the window. They're nice enough to me when they talk, but I feel like missing the key item in a combo meal makes it feel fake. I'd rather have a staff that just give me the food I ordered than be super nice to me while they give me less than half of my order.
I guess whether or not it's a good experience here is entirely random. I just can't get what I ordered from here ever. Oh well, there are other taco...
