I hate negative reviews and this one should really be less than 3 stars; however being in retail, I understand that everyone can have an off day. First thing, we drive over an hour because The Brick is (was) our favorite! When we placed our order for stuffed mushrooms it takes our waiter a minimum of 10 minutes to advise us that they just ran out of mushrooms. Oh well, we're disappointed but it happens. My wife and me ordered a pizza that was, as always, very good. My children ordered a stromboli to split and it was not done...raw dough inside. They then ordered a pizza with the same toppings and the waiter brought it out; however we were never asked what was wrong and why they had to place another order. When the bill arrived we were charged for both the stromboli and their pizza. The other thing that was disappointing was the lack of service. This was at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon and they were not busy at all, but drink refills had to be asked for, while behind the counter there was quite a bit of playing among employees and none seemed to care about customers, or at least us. I really can't answer for others in the restaurant at that time. As I stated from the beginning, everyone can have an off day but there will be a lot of thought and time before we make the drive from Simpsonville, SC to Columbus, NC to visit The Brick. The only reason for my review is so that The Bricks owners and management will care enough to correct the experience we had today. Lastly, we have never been disappointed before and will return at least 1 more time in the future and hopefully we will find what we have always received in our...

Great food.......sorry USED to be great food. Im the guy with the $39 call in order Sunday the 24th 2019 just after 3pm, who got an undercooked Stromboli.....yep with raw dough n cold pepperoni in the middle.....the one who came back 3 mins after & asked the chashier for a refund. The one who was told i couldn't get a refund for my Stromboli because i paid with a debit card. The one told to "come back Wednesday" because the manager went home already. The one who you called when i asked for the managers name, & was told "i have to ask my manager if i can tell you his name"??? The one you told "Omar", well "Omar" if that really is your name congrats, that is the last time my family & probably my friends will eat there. See Omar i happen to travel a bit. I talk with friends. I like pizza. We like pizza. Louie's Cafe , Venus Pie........Brick Pizzeria might have great pizza, but when you lack the common courtesy to correct your mistakes you disrespect the customer. You have disrespected me when your owners are not present........Owners please start with teaching your manager "Omar" that for starters it is polite & good business practice to look up and greet the customers when they show up and stand for even just 30 seconds in front of the cashier, instead of complaining how you were supposed to have left by 3...

I have no idea how this place got 4.3⭐ rating! Our visit was a never to be repeated event.

We walked in to a sign that read: Please seat yourself at any clean table.

Seven were empty. None were clean. We finally sat at the cleanest of the bunch. When the first person came to the table she did not greet us but managed to spray my dress clothes with disinfectant when she wiped the table.

We then waited 10 minutes for a server to show up. She did say hello but I certainly couldn't classify her as friendly.

We ordered an appetizer and a pizza. The wings came at the same time as the pizza and had no sauce on them even though I ordered mild buffalo. When she put it down I asked about it and was informed that it would be arriving shortly.🤨 It took 5 more minutes and then I had to haphazardly "toss" them with it myself.

The pizza was edible but definitely nothing special.

If you're interested in Pizza & Wings go to Side Street Pizza & Pasta in Tryon instead. (It's only 5 miles away). You may have a wait but I've never been...

We stopped in for lunch today and wow! So good both with service and food! I had a 10" inch pizza with pineapple & bacon and hubby had the bison chili. Both were fantastic! He really enjoyed the well made chili which was easy to eat even with recovering from removal of all his uppers and with limited chewing ability beyond soft foods. I cut the front half off a slice of my pizza and assured him he probably could eat it given how tender it was. The pizza was the perfect balance of a thin yet tender crust topped with the perfect ratio of sauce and toppings. He was so estatic to be able to eat pizza for the first time since March and enjoy another half slice! Thank you for the great food and service!!!!

Service was awful! The girl serving us had an attitude and is not made for the service industry. Had to flag her down for refills, and never got half of our orders… Then got mad when we said we didn’t want it; after we were already done with our pizza’s! Then continued to be inconvenienced when someone asked for a to-go box. We witnessed people coming in, sitting down, and never getting greated or served, then watched them get up and walk out. There were tables that never got cleared the entire hour and a half we were there.. No idea how she was hired for this position.. as someone who’s managed a restaurant; she’d be washing dishes in my restaurant and that’s it!

I am visiting Mill Spring, NC and stumbled upon this quaint little establishment in Columbus. I placed a to go order. I ordered a pepperoni calzone and a side salad with ranch. When I say this was the BEST calzone I have EVER had, I kid you not. The flavors were rich and the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses made my mouth water. The marinara sauce was absolutely delicious as well. I wasn't that hungry, so I did not end of eating the salad yet, but for a side salad, the portion was very generous! There is plenty of seating inside. The atmosphere reminds me of an old style pizza joint. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!
