I met my mother here today, for lunch. my mother lives in SC, and I am in NC. Columbus is about equal distances from both of us, and much more appealing than meeting in Spartanburg ( and the I-85S mess) My mother knew of this restaurant and we agreed it would be a good place to meet. Let me say, Eating meeting and eating here . was one of the best ideas either one of us has ever had!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was fabulous. They realized, I believe, we had not seen each other in a while and we took up space for about three hours just chitchatting.they were very nice about our Long visit and told us to take our time and enjoy it. So that's what we did . when they started getting a bit busier we thought we should go ahead and free up the table. It was a great lunch all the way around.. I would definitely recommend this place . Thanks to all the staff for The great food, being so kind , and making a special day even more so. Oh, and they also have a...
Read moreFood is amazing and workers are even better! Me and my family come/came here just about every friday and saturdayfor about a year & still going. The main lady, who I think may be the owners wife, i do believe knows us & shes 2 kids too. She always says hi and talks to them and asked how they been and how school is... My kids always love coming in and being there. But the food and service and just all around feeling of the place itself that we love is just the family friendlyiness. For instance, if we go in to eat usually in there later hours like 8 to 10 for example and my youngest is in a mood, as kids will get from time to time, from being told no or just being tired any numbet or things i know that if he is fussy or being alittle loud or a bit messy i dont have to worry about feeling bad or like they wished we would leave. She usually will come to table and talk to him and see if there is anything she can do to make him smile or happier... Definitely our #1 family...

I wonder if they complain about Sloppy Joes, also? Let's face it: Mexican food is the same no matter where you go. The only difference is the quality and the quality of service. If you are going to be thrown by such simple issues, it's probably better to avoid eating out altogether. This little Mexican restaurant was actually a pleasant surprise! I would rate it alongside some of the better Mexican restaurants that are in Texas. It's family-owned, and the service is very attentive and personal. It absolutely is worth visiting! If I ever get by this restaurant again, I will go out of my way to stop...
