Fuji Express — Restaurant in Columbus

First and last time I will go there. I was not sure of how they did things and I ordered my food at the counter. I was not given the option to dine in or take out. I just thought it was similar to Arby's or whatever where you order and you take your food and sit down at a table. I ask if they had hot sauce and they said they had Sriracha and Tabasco. While I was waiting for my food I asked for hot sauce another girl said that there was a charge did I want a small or large. I was a bit confused as I had asked if there was hot sauce on the tables. So I took my food into the seating area and saw hot sauce on the counter and picked it up and took it to my table. Within a couple of minutes one of the girls came in and said are you dining in? And I said I think so. A few seconds later she appeared with a sign that said for employees only and taped it to a refrigerator door under the counter. I later mentioned to her that I wasn't given a choice whether I wanted to dine in or take out and I saw the hot sauce on the counter and so I got some. She did apologize. However they need to be a little more forth with with how their business operates. As for the food, in my opinion it's overpriced for just so-so food. There is an upcharge if you want all vegetables instead of carrots which are a vegetable and rice. And the quality and quantity for the price I would pass on. I have been here many times and have been happy with my food. But today I went and ordered two of the Fuji special combos for dinner and the food,when I got it home, was food that had been sitting pre-cooked and was not made to order. I ordered my steak medium rare,it was well done, everything else the chicken, shrimp and scallops were way overcooked and had been sitting pre-cooked before I got there, it was obvious. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner and expressed my unhappiness at the quality of my food, this was at 8:48 p.m. at night when I made my phone call and he wanted me to come back with the food while we had already started eating it that's why we noticed it was not good, and I live 15 minutes away. I told him I wasn't bringing the food back because they close at 9:00 and I didn't want to spend my time and gas money for him to re-cook it and me have to eat at 10:00 at night. Obviously he had to know the food he was serving was food that had been cooked prior to my arriving but he proceeded to start telling me something about his health which I didn't understand the relevance of that but anyway he was not willing to do anything for me other than have me waste my time and gas money to bring food back that should have been right the first time and that he knew that he served that was overcooked. Eventually our conversation ended with him hanging up on me. I personally do not plan on visiting this...

Food was very good! However, the drive-through speaker is not operational so you have to pull up to the window to order. After you pay for your order they give you a Post-it note with a number on it and tell you to drive back around and get in line again and by the time you come back to the window your food would be ready. I’m not fond of this and they said this will be the process from here on out. Also when I got home I noticed soy sauce all over the outside of one side of my bag as well as all over several boxes inside of the bag. My bag sat on a level surface in my car while traveling home. Hopefully they will take note of these issues so I can give them a higher rating...
