Summery: If I lived in Comfort I would only go here if I was truly craving Hispanic food (and I really enjoy Mexican). I would settle for it and it seems, by the faces of the locals, that they settle for it too.
Service: 2/5 - I ate during the weekend lunch rush, but the staff were not capable of giving great service. The tables were not cleaned. I was not shown to a table, which is sometimes the style of restaurant, but in this case it seemed like they didn't have time to. The staff are all bilingual (English & Spanish) but it was slow in general. I also had to ask for the check, which they forgot. The cashier had to ask what I ordered haha.
Quality: 3/5 - It was what I expected: not great, but not bad.
Quantity: 3/5 - standard sizes for the soft tacos I ordered.
Price: 3/5 - $8 and change for 3 tacos and drink
Atmosphere: 1/5 - The florescent lighting was horrific. It gave the rooms a feeling like we were in a hospital. The wall decor was so messy and chaotic that it confused me how someone would think it would be...
Read moreIf I could give Los Jarros no stars I certainly would. If you’re a tourist, sure the food is decent but to the local patrons, if you choose to support an establishment that tells your customers “to mop up your own mess” and refuses to give you the owners information or help you in setting an appointment to speak to them, then you are clearly a favored patron. I’ve lived here 20 years and though the food is decent and the errors they have made are more consistent than positive impacts, I am done giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt. They lack good management and leadership skills and have clearly lost sight of the humility they owe to their humble roots. I wish Google would allow me to put my full review but the characters are limited. Feel free to check out my FULL review on their Facebook page. It’s literally the most lengthy and detailed so you can make your own judgement on this...
Read moreWould give 0 stars but I can't. So I must say for a small town you would think you would want to make the best food for the community that you are wanting to serve. Burned stale chips is not ok. The salsa is not even close to salsa I dont know what they think but that is not it. Lose the plastic spoons. Now for the food. The steak meat was cooked ok but would have like the onions cooked with it. To just grow raw onions in is plain lazy. And why are your cook afraid of flavor? This meal was poorly done you have the time to cook here its not busy. Looks busy just because the parking lot is so small. Don't waste your money here. There are other places to eat and I-10 is real close so you...
