Just filed a complaint with Corporate and their ownership for their so called "manager" after being hung up on after their driver failed to deliver the food. Kept claiming it was somehow my fault their driver didn't deliver the food yet "claimed" she did. Our secretary and office workers never saw a jimmy johns delivery at ANY of our 3 buildings. Even though it was a REORDER to the same address and same 3 buildings (all with their OWN addresses as well) that order food from this address all the time. It was literally paid for and frequently delivery drivers leave it with a secretary or another employee takes it to them in the worst case scenario. The driver obviously NEVER entered the 3 buildings. The "manager" obviously doesn't know how to resolve a simple situation without crying and running the other way, so he just hung up; when calling back they just left it on hold. I didn't have all day to wait to see if I could get a refund, so he played me into the hand of calling corporate. Guess managing a jimmy johns successfully is too high skill of a job for that one.
Edit: Currently changing this from 1 star to 4 stars ONLY due to GM who handled herself amazingly after giving me a call. Honestly she far exceeded the expectations I had when taking the call and she is someone who every manager should be emulating their behavior after. She has taken over a rough situation there and I can tell that if given time that she is someone that can turn the negative...
Read moreI don’t even know why I stop in here anymore. It’s less than a mile from my house and is convenient, but the food is terrible and the order is wrong EVERY time. I always order an unwich with extra meat and get charged for that. Never fails - no extra meat - but this time my unwich was the side of the palm of my hand! This place is so disappointing. I grew up near the beck and Pontiac trail location and those people would die if they saw how the Union lake location was run. The employees are lazy, preoccupied, and they make terrible sandwiches and don’t listen to what customers want. The kid had my sandwich made before I could even complete my order - so he probably didn’t even hear that I said extra anything. I wish I could have the money I’ve spent here back, but I’ll just never return after this. All they are concerned with is getting you out of the store from the second you walk in. Read moreAs a previous GM with the company (not this store) I can tell you that this store is in trouble. I've ordered numerous times and the service has been consistently horrible. Stale bread, missing toppings, extremely light toppings, employees noticeably as high as giraffe balls. Today I went into the store to find that the store is out of roast beef. So I changed my order and PAID for those two lovey slices of provolone, only to get home and unwrap my sandwich to find there is no cheese. But, sure I'll pay for it, you guys go ahead and keep that. Who is training these people? Who owns this store? Because you're doing horrible!!!! My money and my paycheck is being disrespected here on too normal an occasion. No roast beef on Sunday night means your Monday morning GM is screwed already. A little bit of advice, if you wouldn't serve it to your mom, don't serve it all.
