Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

If I could give ZERO I would. Just ordered $50 worth of food on their website for delivery paying cash. Received a call 2min later saying they must deliver using Door Dash and needed our credit card # over the phone. We explained how much we HATE Door Dash and that's why we went to Pizza Hut site directly, but they explained that's the only way they can deliver. We unhappily paid via credit card since that was the only option. Over an hour and 10min later the Door Dash guy arrived with our cold pizza in hand and proceeded to ask for $48 in cash. We explained that Pizza Hut already charged our credit card and we had already paid. The RUDE driver stated that was not correct and that he couldn't hand us the pizza. There we stood, on our porch, food getting cold. We called Pizza Hut, they told us to call DoorDash! What sense does this make??? The DoorDash driver told us he would drive our food back to their store, and we could go drive behind him and pick up our cold food! He refused to give us the food we had paid for. I am writing this BAD review because this Pizza Hut Manager stated this was not the first time TODAY this has happened. As a manager, if you know that DoorDash is HORRIBLE, you should stop using their service. If "cash" is not an actual option, then remove that option from your website. The online ordering had glitches. My profile had my address for delivery. Took me 3 tries to pay for the order. When it finally went through, the delivery address was to the pizza hut location and not my home address. I had to contact doordash because of the pizza hut phone number I called, the operator hung up on me, and the local number refused to answer the phone. Fortunately, the doordash people helped me through this ordeal and gave me updates and resolved issues for me and delivered to me with a smile. Big shout out to Aires at doordash for assisting me. Unfortunately, the pizza was cold, and the breadsticks were bland and cold. The marinara sauce was tasteless as well. Extremely unsatisfied...

Ive never been a fan of pizza hut, first time eating there in about 5 years And for some reason decided to give it a try, I got a personal meat lover pizza, and bacon cheddar sticks. They were both fantastic. The woman working behind the counter was also working kitchen by herself as there were no other workers. But seemed very calm and organized. Completed 2 or 3 orders before taking mine (fantastic multitasking), very clean, and when i got my food it was fast and packaged tidy. Overall I'm extremely satisfied and look forward...
