Typically OK food. They don't know how to service customers.
Last weekend I picked up dinner. I placed order online. I went to pick up. Order was ready, so I paid and left. I didn't look inside the bag, but the order tag on the outside had my name and correct order, so I assumed it was all good.
20 minutes later, as I'm in thick rush hour traffic, they call and ask me to return to food. They put the wrong order into my bag. OK - I'm upset, but mistakes happen. Also, no way am I driving 20 minutes back to Yummy, then another 30 minutes home. I asked to just have the order refunded. They say they cannot. Why? No idea. I have to come in personally with my card within 48 hours to get my refund. I was going out of town, so I said I couldn't do that. She said, "OK...I see your order was $18.21, so you can have $18.21 in credit. Is that fine?"
That's the point I hung up. They assumed I would drive 20 minutes back to return the wrong order? They say I have to come in to get refund? They don't offer anything extra in credit to acknowledge their mistake? Even a "We're very sorry, please accept a $25 credit for next order" and it would be...something? Their food is fine. Nothing great, but typically OK. Their...

The sauce had too much salt and vinegar for my personal taste. The sweet and sour sauce had no onions, peppers, or pineapple. What ever happened to those being added? This is not the first experience in this area that was like that. Fried rice was fine, just didn’t really have a lot of flavor and had no type of vegetables or bean sprouts or anything. the crab rangoons we ordered were really good. Miso soup was also excellent. The West Coast sushi roll was good but only came in six pieces. Wasn’t enough value for the price. Spring roll was nice and crisp on the outside, but everything was too mushy on the inside for me. I should’ve gotten maybe the eggroll instead. Since moving back to Michigan, it has been dire straits, finding good Americanized Chinese food. Back in the day, my mom and I always went out for Chinese food and it was amazing. What happened over the years? So experience was OK, not the best, but not the worst. Everything was fresh and hot. Order came out...
Read moreI ordered Hunan Chicken, no green pepper. They made Szchewan Chicken instead. Whatever, no big deal. I reordered the Hunan Chicken no green pepper. After driving 20 minutes back home, we discovered that there was green pepper in the meal. I called in to ask for a refund. They refused and told me they would remake it, but i had to bring them the hunan chicken so they could inspect it. She claimed i order light green pepper. I literally shouted through the window after i caught their mistake and she took off to the back "no green pepper". So instead of giving me my $8.95 back, they want me to drive back there so they can inspect it. So timewise...20 minutes drive there, 10 minutes waiting in the parking lot while they remade the dish, 20 minutes back home, THEN i should drive 20 minutes back there, inspect its right tbis time, then 20 minutes home before i can eat. So its ok that i spend an hour and a half to get my meal right because they dont listen and wont give me a refund. Terrible rude customer service. No wonder the reviews are plummeting. Hopefully out of business soon considering theres plenty of better Chinese restarants...
